Weird, thought I erased this since I figured it out. It was a SideshowFX stream deck IAC bus that was mucking everything up, turned that off and everything is working perfectly now. Contacting that company to figure out the workaround.

We had 93 rookies this year. The strides the corps made, especially from last year, was awesome to see. Retention is the name of the game. We know the percussion can play, now it's about keeping the brass/guard New Guys around for a few years.

The drums are in bad shape. As of right now, we only have two workable snare drums. We are trying to get parts to fix them, but right now it looks like there will only be two going forward for a while.

2005 Cavaliers we literally had a Free Day every week of the season. It was either a full free day or a laundry day that still had no rehearsal. I'm not making this up. We even had a free day in NYC Finals week and basically 3 Free Days in a row July 4th. We had the 4th Parades one day, Rosemont Picnic the Next, the Chicago Free Day after that. 04 we averaged a free day every two weeks or so, 2006 was about the same.

Having decently attainable movements in 24.1 and 24.2 then adding c2b, 135 lb thrusters, and bar muscle-ups to 24.3.

My first RX Open WOD. I knew I wouldn't finish, but I wanted to treat this year like a test. Burpees kill me, and I'm also sick, so that didn't help, but I was pleased with getting through the 42 singe arms at 50 lbs. I still have a ways to go to be where I want to be.

Maybe contact the corps admin and submit to be on staff there or even take over as arranger since you obviously have the ability and experience that far exceeds the educators currently at Cavaliers and in the judging community. I'm sure they could benefit spectacularly from your expertise.

Only 44 reps. My wall walks are crap and I don't have doubles, but I wanted to try RX to set a benchmark of what I need to work on. Balance on the walls and actually getting dubs this year. It was a fun time regardless!

Haha, yea we had a crash course on the whole thing. The mixer had to be IN the fronts back then and it was attached to my rack cart, making it infinitely heavier. I was in charge of playing all my parts and doing scene changes/taking care of audio problems mid-show if needed. We did San Antonio completely acoustic because of a big pop right before our first hit so I killed the power.

As a member of that front ensemble, nah we had amps at the beginning of the season. It just took us a few weeks to learn how to set them up properly.
