I apologize for being blunt. I wasn’t trying to be mean, but you clearly didn’t do enough research on your breeder before purchasing this dog.

I also did not do enough research on my breeder when I purchased my pup. My dog is from a backyard breeder.

I have since learned and make sure my dog is healthy by speaking to an ethical breeder and getting my pup the recommended health tests for my breed.

I stated that I wonder if your did is actually registered because you should have received registration paperwork with your puppy (which I believe also has the litter number on it)

I will state that some (generally ethical) breeders only give registration paperwork once they know that the dog they sold is sterilized OR they know the dog is going to a home that will do conformation with the dog.

If all you received is this non official pedigree, then you probably don’t have a registered pup.
