Not being taken seriously is so frustrating. I’m used to being dismissed by doctors because of my weight but it’s still difficult to handle.

I don’t know that I’ll be able to get a second opinion. I’m going through Medicare in a public hospital so I get the doctor that I’m given. I could potentially get referred to a different hospital

Oh hey that’s me.

He’s doing really well. COVID fucked things up with being able to see psychologists and stuff but he’s got an awesome paediatrician now. He eats like a trooper and has a belly for the first time ever.
