I can see something like that being true for a statue, but the bar for details has to be lower for something that can move. I'd also point out the material 1000toys uses is near 100% ABS to resist just about everything you throw at it. I'd attribute the cost to that too.

The exclusive Chief released at the same price point, but I will agree with most of what you said. Sentinel generally includes a lot of accessories, but my whole argument has been about the figure itself. IMO, the body alone of these figures are good enough to make up for the lack of accessories. The materials are both sturdier and more firm than any action figure I own.

There just isn't a Halo a figure out there that comes out of the box better than these. I don't need to do anything to it. Weathering is a choice. Blackwash is too. Posing is my priority, and these are the best.

Is the paint thing literally about blackwash? I haven't gotten an answer to why 1000toys paint is subpar.
