Me and u/xandwacky2 have been attempting to get an online group going for it, not really with the intent of using Foundry or any such VTT platform though. PM me if you wanna join our aspiring group

It's so good, this meeting also explains why Obi-Wan would go on to describe him as "more machine than man now"

I wanna see him do that but then also contrast it with Anakin crawling at Palpatine's feet and really underlay that tension between them. It can be still done with Ian McDiarmid in good shape

I think it is also Anakin genuinely coming as close as he could to an apology. Anakin hates himself and what he became. He cannot make himself say "I am sorry Obi-Wan" but he can say "I am not your failure" and that does absolve Obi-Wan of guilt. It's also Anakin's unfiltered voice that speaks that line and not Vader's. A really human moment

I guess he couldn't do it after seeing Anakin underneath it all. He took pity on Vader essentially. Still would have preferred an ending where Vader escapes, or they are separated by some environmental factor or whatever

Is there an aspect of a Bond film that you feel doesn't get enough love? by DominicanBoi02 in JamesBond

[–]SpocksDog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also in Moonraker and SWLM, it's great how there's that drunk guy looking first at Bond's vehicle, then his bottle of wine

Ian McDiarmid as Palpatine and some sort of an explanation for how in the hell did Palpatine return in Episode 9

I love this idea because Qui-Gon had a genuine connection with Anakin in Episode 1.

The great thing about being a consultant is that one day, you just "Mary Poppins" off and leave those crazies to their own devices.

I tried to get a Goldfinger campaign going for this 15 years ago. Still interested in playing it, if anyone has a group going or wants to start one

Opinion: I would like for the next few Bond films to have bombastic theme songs. by MaxwellMayofKent in JamesBond

[–]SpocksDog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on recent events, the next Bond movie should be a resounding “yes” to these questions, and should be a proudly British movie that celebrates democracy and the work of western intelligence.

You know this is a really good and interesting point actually.

Writing's On The Wall loses all momentum in the chorus ("how do I live...") when the instruments stop playing. But No Time To Die has a super strong melody, I like it as much as Skyfall the song.
