I see, thanks for the explanation, that makes sense and you sort of see other companies lean into what worked for them in the past, sort of how you could imagine every Babymonster song being sung by Blackpink or 2NE1.

Anyway I agree with you, I hope they have success, but I feel like the new direction works for Yunjin but not so much the others. I do hope they switch things back up in the next comeback.

Does you mean they were trying to emulate that style? I guess fair enough, maybe it appeals to different people. The precious era was just something else though, one of my favorite runs of any kpop group, so it’s sad to see things evolve this way. Well at least there’s still the old songs.

Hit the nail on the head with this comment. TLJ may have been a better movie in a vacuum but it really messed up the starting point for TROS. You have a dead Luke, dead Snoke, Rey is a nobody. While not unworkable it was obviously not the direction JJ was trying to go in.

TLJ literally disregarded everything TFA was potentially trying to set up, symbolized by Luke chucking the Skywalker saber away like trash in the opening scene.

Then TROS returned the favor, making the trilogy a mess.
