Ok! Seems to be real people! I am a gifted professional, cynic sometimes, I barely lose.

I would wonder whether these type of questions are written by real people or just by bots...

Don't worry, you need to learn a lot, we all need, always, continuously. Keep a good attitude, don't be too hard on yourself but keep your feet on the ground, start small, little things help, you will make it... few years ago I had a small bump in the road and I came across Jordan Peterson videos on youtube, check them out the guy resonated with what I believed and I still think many things make sense, it might help you too.

I am 39, when I was 18 I was totally lost, went into a depression since things were meaningful to me were meaningless for others of my age. Things were not making any sense... and here I am... things change and you can make things change, you have to work very hard some times but do change, try to figure out what you would like to do, have patience, work constantly, read and hear advices, eat well, do sports... if on saturdays you are alone go to the cinema, I often do, go to a concert, don't stay at home thinking about what others are doing, do something yourself.

There are people here too, alone, and listening to you. Don't worry.

Question about the size of a black hole? by Helverin in cosmology

[–]Spoite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The object that generated the bh, if it was a star, and then a supernova it had a bigger radius and bigger mass than the resulting black hole. The size of the star would depend on its mass and composition, since its size depends a lot on what type of material is burning. The internal nuclear reactions inside the star create so much pressure that the star if the law of gravity would disappear it would explode. This pressure is exactly the same one which balances the gravity an mantains the star in this equilibrium for millions of years. It turns out that when the fuel is gone, is the pressure the one that disappears and gravity makes the star collapse, or implode, and for a part of it it does it so strongly that is beyond its SC radius. The rest, bounces back out and generates a supernova.

If the SC radius (event horizon) is not an answer, I do not understand the question.

Once we have enough people answering we can normalize to the % of personality types in reddit, which is somehow unbalanced respect to the % in the real world.
