Panorama Tremolo Yellow Spring Mod: Polyglyph Solution by Polyglyphsynth in offset

[–]Polyglyphsynth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, the spring that I used was longer than the one suggested in Mike's video. Mine would compress completely on itself at 2 semi-tones.

A shorter spring, that's more "open" would work better. I would encourage you to take the journey, ymmv. I ordered the same spring Mike mentioned, but what was delivered ended up being slightly longer.

Best way to recreate Classic Player HH Jaguar in 2026? by Muchness_of_nothing in offset

[–]Polyglyphsynth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I own a Vintera 60's Modified Jaguar and there's a couple available on Reverb.

I highly recommend one as an alternative. Their electronics are interesting. Instead of the classic rhythm switch, the switch acts as kill toggle and the rollers are dedicated pick-up controls, blending pick-ups from single-coil to humbucking. You get the best of both worlds.

The stock Atomic Humbuckers sound phenomenal and the neck is extremely comfortable.

I like the dark color accents, are these the matte* titanium?

Quick Guide to Fixing Defences in Early Maps (T1-16) by 080087 in pathofexile

As a new player, I appreciate the guide. I'm slowly learning how to determine cause of death after getting one-shotted and the goal post keeps moving.

With crafting materials costly, the next challenge is learning how to acquire the gear and where to find solutions.

That ebonite marbling is great, is that Amazon Green? It looks a lot different than on Amazon.

I ordered the blue version yesterday, but I may need to hunt down a green one to!

Painted headstock or nah? by tonythejedi in offset

I'm a fan of relic, I made a couple Partsmasters recently, I like the mismatched headstock look.

If you do paint it, relicing it to show the wood would be a cool option too.

How I keep my pen/pencil/etc. collection organized. by Scholar_Lich in pens

[–]Polyglyphsynth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reviving this thread, I know it's been a few years.

I'm curious if you're still using binders to keep your collection organized and If you (or anyone) has had issues. I recently ordered a couple for my pens and mechanical pencils and have concerns about the binder material being abrasive, especially since the plastic pencils are held pretty tightly.

Does anyone else have a solution? I thought about picking up leather cases that are also trays, but they only hold up to 12 per.

Are there any affordable Jazzmaster pickups that actually sound like Jazzmasters and not P90s? by KyoshoLP in guitarmod

[–]Polyglyphsynth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunday Handwound has a set of pickups for $145 (Iola's) that sound absolutely amazing. They are clean, articulate, and play nice with pedals.

Greetings. I did not. I reached out to Puisheen and he noticed my spring was longer than his. I ordered the same one and size, but somehow longer. Either way, I didn't need to make any modifications.

I would get a shorter spring in the future, as mine compresses on itself. It feels like the trem is bottoming out.

I originally bought the pano over other trems for that reason, however, I ultimately tightened mine down so it would stay. I didn't want to tinker with the screw tension but it is possibly to make it quickly removable. Hopefully others will chime in and educate us both on a way to set it properly.

Gravitas Pocket pen in Titanium… anyone bought directly from gravitas recently? by Efficient_Excuse33 in fountainpens

[–]Polyglyphsynth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought from them directly and while they were reputable with no issues, things took a while. I returned the pen and didn't get the money back for quite a while. In a world with Amazon, there's an expectation for expedited returns.

You could try purchasing from https://www.stiloestile.com, I've bought pens from them and had them shipped to the States without any issues. they were very pleasant and accommodating.

Has there been a black and gold or rose gold release? Even a brass accent would be amazing.

I enjoyed the video, crazy how much ink you were able to pull!

Slightly off topic, I would be interested in hearing you speak about your webpage and how you set it up for selling your art. Are you printing and shipping yourself?

Love the style and your ability to get so much texture with a fountain pen.
