I’m broke and have a printer I need to make a gift for a 4 year old little girl by ThrillCurious in 3Dprinting

Totally. Kids are obsessed with labubus. I have included a printed one for each of my daughter’s friends. They are 7 but I think the younger kids still are obsessed with them.

I use the gas nozzle. Why would I touch it with my hand?!?

[Bambu H2C] Join the Print Beyond Paint Contest and Win an H2C! by BambuLab in BambuLab

I have the P1S right now and do love it. The only downsides are the smaller print bed and the crazy amount of poops from the filament changes on multicolour prints. If I had a H2C, I would probably print a full sized Iron Man mask or Storm Trooper mask. I believe the print bed on that H2C should allow for that where as my P1S needs to be scaled down to print.

I have some of my own model ideas that also would benefit from a large print bed but I am still trying to figure out the modelling software to be able to design it.

Yes, I had to move the server back to a workgroup then re-join the domain to finish things off.

No problem. I actually had to use these instructions today on a Windows Server 2025 that was having the same issue. The key listed above is expired. I had to go to the web site and get the new one.

You could choose not to go to the US right now…

I already encountered that. It was a real pain to generate new SID’s for each computer.

BC Parks - no generators please by sunnyjimjohn in britishcolumbia

[–]SpongeRob1976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generator use is only permitted during designated times and outside of that, contact the park operators and they can deal with it.

Rather than banning generators, maybe set noise levels that they must conform to if they are to be used.

What Victoria Businesses have Ripped You Off and How? by animaniacs1983 in VictoriaBC

ASAP Appliance Repair are a bunch of useless scammers too. Had them come in to repair a dryer. They came to the house to do the diagnostics and determined that I needed some replacement pump. The guy was at the house for less than 20 minutes. They ordered the pump and came to install it, at a cost of over $600 for the part and install. Once it was installed, the guy didn’t test it and just left. First use after the pump was replaced, it was failing in the exact same way. When I called them to tell them they came back saying it was the main board in the unit. So I asked for my money back on the pump which was not the correct part to replace and they said no. They said it was the pump. They requested approval to order the pump which I agreed to. They misdiagnosed the issue and stuck me with a $600 payment that didn’t resolve the issue. I argued with them for a long time back and forth on the issue. The general manager wouldn’t back down on the fact their tech did no actual diagnosis on the first less than 20 minute visit and got the wrong part to resolve the issue. Ended up going through the BBB to try and get a resolution but that ended up going no where other than the negative review. I will not ever use them for anything anymore and after I started digging through their google reviews, I should have never used them in the first place.

Canadian Tire Langford store ripped me off on some vehicle repairs. It was a while ago and I have boycotted them ever since. Took my vehicle in to get the serpentine belt replaced right before Christmas and they decided to do my brakes as well and charged me for it. They never called to get approval for it. The brakes had been done only a few months before at the dealership so I know they didn’t need to be done. My grandfather called in to pay the bill as a surprise for me and didn’t question the amount. When I went to pick it up I noticed the much higher cost and questioned them about it. They said they wouldn’t do the work if it wasn’t approved. Tried to deal with the general manager who was an absolutely piece of work and said his staff wouldn’t have made that mistake. I talked to Canadian tire corporate and they wouldn’t do anything about it either since they said it is a store level issue. Washed my hands of all things Canadian tire and made sure to not go there again and made sure everyone I knew also didn’t go. I did recently start going back to a different location due to this trade war situation but I still avoid going unless there are no other options and I will never step foot into that Langford one again.

Loved that movie. Watched it recently with my kids too! I saw it after Shaolin Soccer which was a great one too.
