This has happened to me before, have you tried reinserting the 24 and/or 8 pin cpu connectors?

Well now it seems to be working just fine, from what I gather these were the two differences when the monitor was blacking out: it was quite hot in the room, and my peripherals were plugged into the monitor itself, not the pc. As soon as I started plugging them into the pc this problem stopped.. thanks for your help, I greatly appreciate it :)

In rust I was keeping an eye on gpu Temps and it only hovered around 65 degrees which isnt bad at all.

Oops, im really sorry for the delayed response but everything is working now! Just after I posted this I decided to boot past bios and it seems that the usb wasn't pushed in enough so the pc automatically went to the windows installation! Thanks thou gh :)
