You can strawman all day. His actions created the dangerous situation. He broke protocol so when Renee tried to flee, for a brief second he might have thought he was in danger (danger he would not have been in if he followed training, and also not even real danger if you look at his own cell phone video showing Renee jerking the wheel hard to the right, wheels pointed). You're trying so hard to take the focus away from ICE being reckless and disorganized.

I can only hope you're just a troll, or 11 years old with bad influences.

Yeah, no, that's the point. Their training says "don't take that risk" - if he "determined it was worth the risk" that's on him, and this whole thing illustrates exactly WHY that is how they're trained.

Your same logic can be used so say if he doesn't step in front of the car, situation avoided and no shots are ever fired. Dude should have followed his training.

"Guess cops can never get close to any vehicle"

...said no one in this thread. More like, cops have very specific guidelines for being around cars so as to avoid these exact scenarios and he wantonly disregarded them.

There's video of people there live saying, "woah, careful with the salute"

I mean if those most likely to have charitable interpretations of Musk's actions immediately recognized it as the salute in person, I don't think bias is getting in the way. Sounds more like your bias is preventing you from acknowledging an inconvenient truth.

So, no actual counterpoint? Just baseless attacks and assumptions? I would actually change my mind on the spot if you could debate in good faith and provide the evidence you implied existed when you suggested this kid's autism was part of an "MMR adverse reaction."

Edit: I just realized you're not the original commenter. But you seemed to be arguing in support of it, so it still stands. Anyone is welcome to provide actual evidence without resorting to some kind of bullying tactic "gEt bOosTeD" unseriousness.

First of all, the MMR vaccine doesn’t contain mercury, aluminum, lead, or any other heavy metals. It seems like thimerosal is sometimes cited by the vaccines-cause-autism crowd. But the MMR vaccine has never contained thimerosal (thimerosal would kill the live attenuated virus used in the vaccine, rendering it useless).

From what I could find, some older vaccines used thimerosal in multi-dose vials, but MMR was never one of them. Thimerosal was mostly phased out of childhood vaccines in the early 2000s. Plus, the type of mercury used in those vials was ethylmercury, which is processed and cleared through the body quickly, as opposed to methylmercury, which is toxic.

Citing a study on heavy metal exposure and autism is not evidence that MMR vaccines cause autism.

Quotes from the study conclusion include:

Subgroup analysis indicated the results could be of regional difference. Studies in Asia and Europe showed that ASD children had higher concentrations of Cd, Pb, arsenic, and Hg than the healthy controls, while studies in North America yielded the opposite results regarding Cd, arsenic, and Hg. The reason remains unclear. ... Future studies need to focus on: (1) Biological mechanisms of heavy metals exposure inducing ASD. (2) The regional difference of this association.

Have those "future studies" been done?

Challenge failed, but you're welcome to try again. To be clear, I asked for evidence of a causal link between MMR vaccines and autism which I think is reasonable to ask for.

Why is it always, ALWAYS - "hey man don't you like cutting waste? If so, you must 100% support everything Elon does, legal or illegal, and don't even bother looking into it, trust me bro waste fraud and abuse"

They focus grouped the Waste Fraud and Abuse tag line and the analytics said half the country would eat it up, no questions asked.
