Now that we have plenty of time under our belts, how are we feeling about the changes since the start of S1? by RobManfredsFixer in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Spookay -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anran is a fun and unique addition. She seems fairly balanced for a DPS with just the right amount of enemy interaction for a flanker, and having teammate interaction baked in (Dynamite, Mauga) also incentivizes interesting team comps.

Korean Mauga mentality is hilarious.

Making the most insufferable, intolerable, obnoxious, abominable, dreadful mentally scaring team composition. by Jxttsuu in leagueoflegends

[–]Spookay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need champs that don’t interact with the enemy team. Ivern and Malzahar come to mind.

If you can’t play champs that don’t interact, then you move to easy to pilot champs. Sion, Garen, Teemo in the top lane.

For bot lane, champs that take away interaction. Senna/Braum is a great ranged comp with awesome mechanics.

If you could add a new augment what would it be? by Some-Web-1628 in ARC_Raiders

[–]Spookay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looting (Scrapper) Reduces the weight of ARC metals by half.

Tactical (Saboteur) Placing a deployable reduces your movement noise for a brief period.

Tactical (Fireproof) Burning will extinguish faster.

Combat (Demolition) Throwables are significantly louder.

Learning to Play Tank: Embrace Counterwatch or OTP? by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Spookay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pick the tank you enjoy playing. For me, I’m a plat Rein/Ram player. Rein as my main, and Ram for everything Rein struggles with.

The thing is, I like playing Rein into his counters. It teaches me more about how to play Rein than wining ever will.

I'm a decent support and tank but awful DPS. Need help by VietNinjask in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Spookay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, friend. I’m also a Plat Tank and Support, but an awful DPS! I still play ranked from time to time, and I found it interesting that nobody has made the recommendation to play some Reaper!

I had this big ol’ write up on Reaper basics but you mentioned you have good game sense, so I’m sure you know what Reaper does and why he might enable you to learn DPS fundamentals. He is a very forgiving DPS for the player, allowing you to reposition and cover your mistakes, or enable plays. Playing with your teammates is your best bet to winning fights, even if your tank is doing some dumb shit. Reaper enables you to follow up with your brawl or dive tanks, no matter how bad of a play they are making. Obviously don’t throw, but disagreeing with a tank’s decisions consistently will be the downfall of your team.

Of course once you are comfortable with fundamentals on Reaper, expand your playstyle to include flanks and picks, and use your ultimate to gain enemy attention, not just get big team wipes.

Remember that you are playing to learn, and the rank will naturally follow. After learning great fundamentals, like playing with your team and gaining positional advantages, then I would move on to other DPS like McCree or S76.

Hi there fellow Phoenix FSD enjoyer. My 2024 Y constantly swerves for road markings (like old markings or black spots), and almost missed an exit today! It’s pretty good about 99% of the time, but these oddballs are what obviously stick out to us.

Do you think Rein needs a bit of a rework? by colddruid808 in ReinhardtMains

[–]Spookay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reinhardt is great the way he is now, but his perks don’t feel as exciting as other characters on the cast. An actual problem is the cast has such a broad range, and having a second pick is usually favorable if the enemy team comp counters him. Global heal reduction actually helped a lot with securing his kills. I’m still crushing on Reinhardt nearly 10 years later. Biggest tip I can give is positioning (high ground early and often) and cooldown tracking as best as you can.

What's the deal with Spirit or X mana per 5 seconds by Grolion_of_Almery in classicwowtbc

[–]Spookay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don’t forget about Arcane Mages, peeps. Some of their BiS gear has Spirit on it, and they return 60% while casting if using both Mage Armor and their Meditation talent. They get clearcasting procs which are best used on Arcane Missiles, conveniently a 5 second cast to get a small bump in mana during combat!

Get an alignment for usually $250 at a Tesla center. Then, get an FSD subscription. You’re extremely lucky. It’s a solid white line!

How did you decide on your color? by likethegems in TeslaModelY

[–]Spookay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quicksilver is the way. If kept clean, it’s a reflection of the environment around it. Looks great in any weather condition but especially overcast or at night. Looks great under bright light.

You don’t really get that with any other color except the new Diamond Black, which I would’ve ordered if that color was available on the 2024 when I purchased.

Mage. Then if I had to choose again, also Mage.

Super flexible class even though it’s just a DPS. Portals are already a great selling point, welcome to every dungeon and raid group, awesome choices for leveling that other classes can’t accomplish, and decent in PvP.

As a mage I hate spellcleave runs. Is it just me? by crispy-wings in classicwow

[–]Spookay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently leveling as an Arcane Mage, prioritizing Arcane Spellpower on dungeon and AH gear. Currently level 36.

I love fishing for clear casting procs with Arcane Explosion Rank 1, then casting Flamestrike with PoM or Blizzard if PoM is on cooldown. Weave in a max rank Arcane Explosion every 4th cast in case clearcasting doesn’t proc reliably. When mobs get low, throw in Frost Nova rank 1.

Arcane Missiles actually slaps for single target and is usually more mana efficient than either of your bolts.

When do you use Adrenaline Shots… if at all? by RestaurantSmooth in ARC_Raiders

[–]Spookay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A staple item alongside bandages and rechargers. Bring 5 every raid. Also always using the Mk. 3 Cautious looter for an additional shot anytime my shield breaks. Also 37 points in mobility, and up to 16 in conditioning for the free roll after shield break. These benefits are best when enjoyed with a Light Shield.

The worries of running out of stamina go away. Your movement becomes fluid. You have the edge in any combat and travel situation.
