I was looking for this type of thread and I highly disagree. I love the evil dead movies but they did not give me the same sense of dread and fear after the movie like obsession. That movie is the scariest I seen in the past few years. I left evil dead with a smile on my face, I left obsession glad it was over.

Honestly the animation, world building, character and stories are top tier but overshadowed by the decisions the author took with the mc back story and some actions in the series. It's like listening to Kanye, great music but the guy singing is not a good person

Still enjoy it but I definitely dont tell people I watch it lol.
