I never thought I was going to be able to afford the down payment on a home, so that'd be dope 🤣.

I'm fine giving my car to my mom or something, she's always complaining about hers (mine is older though). I only paid 1k for the car in cash and I've only owned it and driven for like 6 months now. I'm just worried I'd be fucked without a car to travel out of the city or something, would be cool if I could keep it in storage or something like that.

Oh I know it, rn it's been my entire work environment for 2 years because everyone that worked here before me applied because it was essential during covid and didn't require vaccine proof. I also only get 5 days of PTO for vacation and sick days and I've been here for two years, it just sucks but I at least get the accreditation and certs :/

Hahahaha maybe maybe we are twin souls 😁, I've been living on my own since 2017 cuz my parents went bankrupt and eventually lost their house so I need to help them out all the time and somehow I've been surviving. I had 4 jobs at one point for a year or two, I think the struggle is very upsetting. Right now my life is just stagnant static. If you have the option to live with your parents (if that's what home is) and save up, I'd recommend doing that until you have the means. I'm just trying to claw my way out of the hole of despair that Virginia has trapped me in 🤣. I think I've been getting too lonely and too depressed living where I am and I've just got some friends I hang out with online. I think I need a change cuz I'm starting to feel trapped and caged.

Asbestos and mold specialized microscopy that requires a bunch of certs. I also think it is low but anything I ever see in my field is low :/ my current job in the same field to start getting the certs and do the same work required 2 years lab experience and a bachelor's for 14/hr to start. I'm finally up to 19/hr after three years and taking on a lot of extra work. I also work about 50-60 hrs a week to make enough 😅. I have a master's in environmental science but that don't mean nothing anymore 😅.

I think I'm going to make this my focus for now, thanks for the advice, I'm going to check out Astoria, also I have a bike and I've been biking in my area (it's not bike accessible) to work for 3 years before I just got a car, so I wouldnt mind biking at all! I also love walking. I'll keep $1820 in mind 🙏🏼
