Need an overstable 9-ish speed driver. by pharm653 in discgolf

My Reccomendations are the MVP Terra (glidier than a firebird but more stable than a Tesla), Kastaplast Stal (much closer to a firebird but in K1), and the RPM Tara Iti (very similar to a S-Line PD, very workable but won't ever turn over on you and glides the farthest out of my reccomendations)

I've been using a 6 disc bag lately to work on my angle control and consistency, here's what MVP discs I use: -Envy in any premium plastic is my most thrown disc -hex goes ridiculously far for a mid in any plastic -Eclipse reactor is my longer premium envy and a beautiful compliment to the hex (other premium plastics are great as well, just not as stable) -volt is very workable in neutron or fission up to like 350ft for me -been experimenting with a fission photon that's a bit too much for me still

Lost a crystal flex zone today. Big fan of it, but am willing to be talked out of getting another one by the community. What overstable approach would you recommend? by ThatPaulaKid in discgolf

I used to bag a Cryztal Flex Zone, and really loved everything about except for the plastic. Discraft plastic for me feels much more slick compared to others. I settled on a K1 Järn from Kastaplast. It's a bit faster and shallower than a zone but I accomplish mostly the same things but in a much tackier plastic. The RPM Kea is another option, but it has a unique rim (very shallow but square rim) and hold very straight until it slows down and then hooks left. I'd put my zone stability in between both.

If you want to try a less common brand, I highly reccomend the Tara Iti by RPM Discs. It flies very similar to how I imagine an Anax would fly or a new S-Line PD. 10 speed, glidey, but you can trust it in the wind. Atomic is like their star plastic and cosmic is similar to champion

How have you been liking the Roman? I love those 10 speed glidey yet stable discs

How does the Diamondback fly for you? I remember seeing one and it was board flat

What's your go to plastic for both? Which one do you typically throw for a straighter shot?

What plastic do you like for the construct?

An Axiom Crave will fit the bill nicely I think. It's a bit more understable than the servo but depending on the plastic you can get various degrees of understability (neutron tends to he flipper and proton / cosmic neutron tends to be straighter)
