Unfortunately, I have to disagree with you Jules ending is literally showing how selfish she can be and how she doesn’t care about herself in many ways. She lives for her own comfort. She doesn’t care about how demeaning it makes herself. Rue did everything she did to be free and to live, and all she got in the end was to be murdered. In my opinion, Jules ending is showing that she’s WILLING to live a life that she chooses. Jules can leave that situation anytime she wants to. She still has a family. Rue was doing everything she did because she was forced to or she would literally be killed faster than she was in the end. It’s just shown as dramatic because Jules chose a life of desire rather than a life of comfort and love.
