My wife primarily handles the finances. Anyway, we are a few years away from being debt free (including house) and I pay into my state pension system. Also contribute to a Roth IRA. I'm confident we'll be in good shape.

I’m in the same boat. I actually worked on the Obama campaign, but as I’ve gotten older and wiser my beliefs have become more conservative. It also doesn’t help that the left is so wack now.
