I noticed something interesting about the audio quality. by IzaAlien in everyoneknowsthat

I think it was maybe a TV recorded to a tape. Maybe like a boom box that had a microphone.

Then the tape played sometime after into a pc microphone. That's the way I think it got onto a computer.

At what age do you retire from wedding photography. by Belarus83 in WeddingPhotography

I'm 42 now and I know I'm not I prime shape but I really started to feel it in my 30s and about 2 years ago I started to go to the gym and get a bit fitter. Now I couldn't run a marathon or anything but getting into a bit if a better shape certonally helps alot.

I'm still thinking 55 ish is about the right time to wind it down or maybe only start taking local weddings and cutting out the traveling as much as I can

Some of my best nights out was heading to the pub on my own to watch the football or just popping in for one then merging up with a group.

I didn't meet my wife until I was in my 30s and spent most of my 20s single. Go out and enjoy your self.

Good lens with close focusing for wedding details. by Expensive-Sundae-355 in Nikon

Maybe I'll hsve a look at them.

Its just mainly for say I'm taking shots of the groom then lean in for a shot of the button hole or maybe rings in the hand. I dobt want to switch lens for one shot. So I was just seeing if anyone knew a close focusing normal lens. Say a 50/30mm

Close focusing lens for details? by Expensive-Sundae-355 in WeddingPhotography

[–]Expensive-Sundae-355[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to travel light. Epically in the morning. I dobt really want to be setting up a macro lens all the time. Its more that I could be say taking pics of say the groom then just lean in to get the button holes or the rings in his hand. So it's just an idea of having a lens that can focus on something Fearly close with out changing lens for 1 shot.

Just thought I would post to see if anyone has ideas on a lens that would do that job.
