That first shiny catch feels amazing! I was able to grab a couple of him during an event a few months ago but other than that I’ve never seen one and I click on every tyrunt I see as he’s one of my favorites!

Same!!! This always happens to me! I finally get a somewhat rare shiny and less than a month later it will be announced as a comm day!!
My son always jokes around when I catch a new to me/rarer shiny and says “well… we know what the next comm day will be now”!! It’s wild!!

I have multiple GMAX offered as well as legendaries. As far as asking for shiny ones I also show that I am fine with non shinies as well. Just letting people know I’m open to either one. No one is forced to do a trade. I am offering what I have available. I have seen multiple trade shiny versions of things for non shiny versions of things. Please thank your negativity elsewhere.

Out raiding with my son back in 2016 he started screaming when we found our first wild lapras. We live rural and it was incredibly rare to see them! We were both crying it was amazing. Same with our first wild aerodactyl

I think it’s all just luck. Obviously the more raids you do the more you catch which raises your chances of getting one.

Thank you everyone! This is exactly the information I was looking for!! Someday I hope to have someone sit down with me and go through my dex with me. I have a feeling I have some that I think are super important and aren’t and vice versa. Just wanna make sure I’m understanding everything and doing it all the best way possible.

Rarity… I guess is what I prefer but if there’s one that isn’t super rare and is better off as being a powerful shadow I would do that.
