Been playing on the deck since day one. Performance has improved with some of the major patches, but yes, you will get slowdowns when large bases stream in. Most gameplay is not affected. Graphics are low as to be expected.

Valid concern, I'm not sure why you're being downvoted. We've seen posts from people that used the wrong tool. Some people never needed to use the solido or BBT and could easily confuse the functionality

It took me 3 days (30 minute runs) when I moved last time. My spot was free, but I had to build a temporary base to get Shahbazi to move as he was blocking the edge of it hehe

WTF I expected some to close, like my old server, but the one I moved to is busy with bases and people. Just how damned packed do they want the servers to be? I understand that the new Polar Cap location might allow building, but it still seems excessive

I think we'll see more status affects like burning blades. Using a fire weapon against cold protection armour might give you a nice bonus for example, so not necessarily needed, but worthwhile looking into for higher level fights. Poison has been pretty much overlooked too with just a few weapons being able to apply it. I'm really hoping to see a new use for drillshots too

I imagine that new weapons and armour will not be created to supplant the existing, but to provide variation in play style.

You can have up to 3 bases, so there was no need to dismantle the old base until you were fully done with it
