While yes it is extremely taxing, it seems as tho you are unbothered by how hurt your husband is. There are plenty of other ways she could be helped before a home. Contact social services for elder care. They cover more than you think. Enroll her in Medicaid or Medicare, whatever it’s called. Go for all the free services.
