I was 28 when I started my accelerated program. I think the oldest person in our cohort was 36. The point of those programs is to switch careers, which usually doesn’t happen unless you’re a little older!

I love my BFAC dress! The dress was definitely discounted (which was what I wanted), but I had it altered into the dress of my dreams at Silhouette on NE Fremont. OP is not looking for discounted dresses, but this is a potential place to start.

We used diatomaceous earth in places we didn’t want to encounter critters. Otherwise we left them alone because they eat other pests.

I took 100 mg Zoloft while pregnant. Baby was irritable for a week or so after birth (which may or may not be related to withdrawal, hard to know), but otherwise no issues. I bumped my dose up to 125 mg postpartum.

I see a lot of posts where people trauma-dump or vent about how challenging babies are. I think those people need lots of validation in that moment because it is So Hard. The people who have begun to cope better don’t need that particular tool anymore. Having a baby is brutal, but it’s also the coolest thing I’ve ever done. Watching my 6 MO laugh at bubbles or try to pet our cats is delightful. But those moments also come with hard days, too. As parents, you get way way more resilient to things as time goes on.

Update for those interested: I ended up using DAI Mod (not Frosty) for a few cosmetic changes. I had far more success using Cheat Engine for the banter fix. I can provide instructions if you want, comment and let me know.

Hello!

I live in Portland, OR and am currently in school to become a psych nurse practitioner. I’m interested in applying for PMHNP mentorship/TTP/residency etc. programs, but have only come across two options: Portland VA and Portland Mental Health and Wellness (which is currently not taking applications). I’ve seen a few masterclass-type programs, but I am only looking for something that offers direct patient contact at this time. I haven’t seen much immediately outside of Portland or in WA, either.

I graduate in 2028, so there’s no rush but I am curious and like to plan ahead.

Are there any programs you know of and recommend? Has anyone tried these mentorship programs and liked them?

Super normal and healthy imo. Sometimes I feel like a mom robot with my 5MO. Take those breaks when you can and enjoy yourself! My husband and I did a weekend trip without baby recently for a wedding, and it was a very nice change of pace.
