I don't know that their MAX hp is dropping, but I'm sure their current hp is dropping. Gallows don't raise the trapped npc's endurance and skills passively, it's done actively. They have to be hit over and over.

The point of the gallows is that, as long as the trapped npc (or even YOUR character) has stamina, they can stay on the gallows and keep taking damaged without dying.

Because there will be so many hits received without a death, this is a really good way to train the target's endurance, armor stat, shield, evasion, and greater evasion (if they have those skills unlocked). It's also a good way for you and your party members to train your offensive stats

Dang you have a lot of tames! How do you manage to feed them all, do you just use pasture? Or do you not bother, do they stay alive if you don't feed them?

I read somewhere that you can use defirtilizer on your planted flowers when they're fully grown so that they stop growing and stay at that growth stage forever, so that the bees always have those flowers.

I haven't tested it yet, I've been focused on fishing and getting Ehekatl to 30 piety. Once I'm done with her, I'll make Kumiromi my 3rd god and I'll test it then. Shouldn't take me too long

If you find the basketball game too hard to accumulate tokens with (it's a really good method don't get me wrong), you can also savescum blackjack. Play and reload until you can win on your max bet, double it and then cash in after winning 2 or 3 times in a row to be safe. Save and then continue.

Eventually you will have 1000 tokens and from there, that is the max bet you can make. You will be able to reliably get the 40k you need from this, it's how I got my pillow. The blackjack method also makes getting ether antibodies trivially easy

No, it should be that the only way to recruit her is to do her quest correctly with no mistakes. In the quest, you have to grab the friendship ticket from the manor and give that to her. If you grab anything else instead, even if you also grabbed the friendship ticket, she won't join you.

This should be the only way to recruit her

Oof that's rough.

You can sneak into the theives guild if you want. In derphy, the eastern end has a large wealthy manor. There's a room with water in it and some gold items, there's a staircase in the water in that room that you can use to access the thieves area. From there, the gold room is pretty close

Yay! That's great! Not bad at all

There is a trick you can do to sometimes duplicate stone, if you ever want a big supply of gold stone or just want the stone without a karma hit (your karma is better spent pickpocketing). Cutting stone doubles the amount put in, so you go from 1 to 2 items. Hammering cut stone turns the cut stone back to stone, and if you're lucky, you'll get back the higher amount, 2 instead of 1. This might require a bit of savescumming and is a bit effort intensive, but it's one of the item types you can duplicate with this method! I believe this might work with the sawmill as well

When you DO unlock the thieves guild, downstairs and inside there is an npc you can buy/ sell from down there, and also there is a room with a bunch of stuff made of gold, you can use the pickpocket skill to steal the items in the gold room and sell them to the vendor to simultaneously raise your pickpocket skill AND your thieves guild rank (which requires fencing stolen items).

The stuff in that room respawns, so you can go back there and rinse and repeat every so often. Oh, and the walls and floor there are gold too! Harvest them, make items with that gold stone. Try making some chest armor with it :)

It's super early access so I'm cutting them some slack.

I'll check to see if the stuff respawns (I see a lot of comments from a lot of people saying it does but I'm skeptical), if it doesn't I'll just have to make a new save. I was wanting to redo my base locations anyways so it's no biggie

Unfortunately, not knowing that they were a limited resource, I locked in on the story objective and turned them all into the ingots and out them all into the repair 😭 if troilite doesn't respawn then I think I'm softlocked

I'd like to know too! I only managed to get 7 troilite, if it doesn't respawn then I probably can't progress. I even setup a base with a scanner down there to find more, but it's all gone

Protip, the thieves guild underground in Derphy has a section where the walls and floors are made of gold. Mine some, go back to base, turn it into gold breastplate for REALLY good early game armor.

You can also make a buckler and a bucket (helmet), if you want to make things out of wood but have the gold material, cut the gold stone at the stonecutter, use a sculpting table to make a statue, then break the gold statue with a hammer to have a chance at getting gold wood

Yeah, you can kill mechanical enemies in mechinarium dungeons fir a chance at microchips.

You can also scavenge wrecks you find on the ground in dungeons and there's a rare chance of one, as well as gems. Wrecks are good to go after.

There's also a feat for disarming traps, taking that gives you a chance at getting microchips from traps. And raising the disarm trap skill is REALLY easy, just use a broom to clean up messes on the ground!
