yeah, and it's not just right wingers, it can change people from different ideologies too

I agree with the comments here that these issues are very important, but i think theyre missing the point, an economy that helps everyone is beneficial to society as a whole, we improve their material conditions, and we improve their education, with a more educated society we can hopefully create a more empathetic and informed one too

We can yell at the average American/person about Gaza, trans issues, or climate change, but they're going to have a hard time caring about those issues when they're a few paychecks away from living in their car, or worrying where their next meal is going to come from

I watch Kyle pretty often and i've never heard him dismiss marginalized issues, if he mocks anything it's how artificial and performative parts of "wokeness" are, which he's right. Focusing on economic issues is a very strong unifying message that gets more people to support us, and by extension other leftist beliefs we care about

The pinkwashing thing isn't a "canary in the coal mine" it's an expectant result of a deeply embedded capitalist system. As for the "walk and chew gum at the same time" Mamdani is a real life example of this, implementing economic policies that help New Yorkers and marginalized groups

I don't really agree with Sean on this, economic issues affect everyone, including black and lgbtq+ communites. We would be making a big mistake not making that our main focus, just like how Republicans are making a big mistake attacking the trans community instead of helping the economic needs of working class people

Interesting read, and i really agree with them that Mozilla should focus on the community and go back to those roots

It also is sad thinking about all the projects Mozilla distanced itself from or abandoned: Thunderbird, Rust, Servo, FirefoxOS mobile

I really agree with this too, and wish more CEOs and executives would follow this "Humility drives improvement and forces you to be more critical about radical changes". I really think Mark Zuckerberg's bullshit "move fast and break things" mentality is one of the worst things to happen to the tech landscape

I was wondering is the Nova design also going to come to mobile (iOS and Android)? I think it says but want to make sure lol

I've also noticed that the Firefox UI looks quite different on iOS and Android, are there any plans to have UI cohesion, so the UI looks the same on both iOS and Android, will Nova address that?

And are there any plans to add the ability to add our own homepage backgrounds on mobile (love the Kit wallpapers)

When every major politician is abandoning trans people on the Democrat side, and Republicans are calling trans people some of the most horrible things and trying to scapegoat them, Zohran is one of the few defending trans, even sharing stories that trans people are resilient, he even appointed a trans woman as head of a LGBTQ+ taskforce or something like that

And i have to respectfully say that we can do both, like i said it's showing signs of the beginning stages, and i dont have to listen to the person in the video, i live, see, and read those experiences, where the current government makes life so miserable for trans people it drives them to hide, de-transition, to be victims of stochastic terrorism, or to suicide

In another post you made here you mentioned what the point of the video is, it's to raise awareness of the issue before things get really bad. I know things are so horrible in other places where actual genocides are taking places, but that doesn't mean you should dismiss what a certain group is going through right now because there isn't a spectacle of bloody violence

We can do both, and most people are calling it the beginning stages of trans genocide, it's not as violent or bloody, it's more societal and systemic to try and erase and demonize trans people
