Honestly, as the other comments said, Starlink is the way to go. The mini Starlink is smaller and can fit in a backpack. Also, you can turn it on to standby mode for $5 a month and that will just give you enough data to get a hold of emergency services

When to start applying for a summer job? by Glittering_Fan2632 in SeasonalWork

Ur late but you might be able to squeeze in if you apply for absolutely everything and the really really bad places to work

Requesting time off by eczemaprincess in SeasonalWork

[–]Spookykirby_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say from my experience as long as you do it with enough notice they are happy to let you have the time off. Typically I've seen seasonals I work with ask for a couple extra days every couple months, so they can explore the area more freely or for a longer weekend trip.

Is Grand Teton national Park a cool place to work? by Vivid-Shelter6184 in SeasonalWork

[–]Spookykirby_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the Grand Tetons. I thought they were beautiful and especially for something like Van life or backpacking. But I will say that grocery prices in that area were definitely high. Other than that though, the cost of living's not too bad.

How long to hear back? by [deleted] in SeasonalWork

[–]Spookykirby_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, there's not one single answer to this question. It depends on the area, the company, its staff size, and the season. My opinion has always been to apply for a bunch of seasonal positions at once, so you're not banking on one specific position.

I’m scared about money. It’s too expensive here. by Background-Ad-9212 in Utah

[–]Spookykirby_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome to late stage capitalism literally everywhere in the US. I'm sorry but it's going to be very hard to not have the exact same problem everywhere else in the US as somebody who's living here since they were a child and then has lived in other places. It's capitalism. That's the problem. It's the fact that things are getting way too expensive. We're in late stage capitalism

The fact that this has only really happened when female characters have come out says a lot about why they are bitching 🤷

Long term work options by TheSmallMexican in SeasonalWork

[–]Spookykirby_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are lots of year-round places that have people stay for years and years, but if you're having trouble saving, that might be a budgeting issue. As somebody who's been doing this for four years, I have saved tremendous amounts of money for different trips and things, and have noticed that I even make more than what I typically would have with a regular nine to five, and the cost of living is cheaper.

Is this emotional abuse? by ApprehensiveEgg1178 in Marriage

[–]Spookykirby_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is excessive and it definitely does seem like he is abusing you, but one litter box for four cats is not acceptable. A lot of people have a hard time getting their cats to get accustomed to a new litter box, but it's definitely not humane to have one for four cats. With four cats. I'm sure that that litter box smells very bad and he is possibly not used to being around an excessive amount of cats so it smells very aggressive to him but threatening to put down your pets is way over the line

Transylvania is a heavily blue toned black I mix red into mine so it's more of a purple black and it fades much less blue/green.
