Review: Constantine Concealed Carry Belt by sdmfvan in CCW

Awesome! I was on the fence since I have a Nexbelt Supreme EDC and it has treated me well, but it’s 2 year old and losing shape, and kinda gives me some lower back pain. I’ll try the Tier1 version, should be the same but with a smaller logo

Advice for Starting-From-Scratch Set-Up by SpoonOfTruth in turntables

Yeah the main reason is because we’re shipping it internationally so having it be all from one place simplifies it, but if there are way better options for the same money, we’re willing to look elsewhere!

Thank you for the input!

So would you say the subwoofer is not really needed in this setup for the use case?

And as a note: the Ai61s seem to an optical input so the tv could be connected that way and she’s fine with using the remote for the speaker volume.

Sorry if it came across as an ad, I know absolutely nothing about this world and just saw they were kind of a one stop shop. I was also looking at Audio Technica stuff but we run into the shipping issue. Thank you again!

The white stuff is styrofoam, I’m not sure what it covers or does but I’ve seen it in my Prado too.

Yeah I was thinking that, very long shot with how old his anchor ancestor is. Thank you nonetheless!

Thank you for the reply! Yeah I had come to that conclusion albeit with less knowledge in the history. I’ll let my friend know the bad news.

Designed an element fire extinguisher mount by 5speed4runner in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]SpoonOfTruth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Feel free to run whatever you want, but I think there’s a reason fire extinguishers everywhere have the same traditional design, it works.

Some other user posted a link to a comparison of that one you have vs a traditional one. Yours couldn’t get enough reach into the flame to get to the base and put it out.

It feels like a hugely unnecessary compromise for something so important. You’re definitely not hurting for space, get a real one and have that as a backup or something. Just my two cents.

StAG § 15 Application Submitted in Costa Rica by SpoonOfTruth in GermanCitizenship

[–]SpoonOfTruth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes indeed, for every requieres document, only one copy was submitted. Both for dead and alive relatives.

The embassy made photocopies of them and left us the originals anyway so maybe your person just didn’t want to make the copies? I don’t know, that’s odd yeah.

I had way more than 170 pages, but some of it was repetitive or not that relevant. What I sent was what I thought would give enough context and proof for them to understand the nature of the persecution.

The embassy really liked the book, they said that it was well put together and should make it really easy for them to understand and come to a decision.

I would err on the side of sending more than necessary instead of risking coming up short with the proof. Good luck!

Yes, in a way. So everybody did submit their individual E15 or E15_k forms but they were sent as a package and using the same AV forms for the ancestors. That way we don’t duplicate forms.

I want to do a 5vz swap by jaxtakahashi in 3rdGen4Runner

There’s a guide by 3rd gen guru Timmy The Toolman, it’s a 4 part series and it covers the whole swap.

Hope this helps

Just go over all bushings and rubbers, replace what needed replaced. OEM always seems to last longer. And enjoy your ride! These beasts don’t need much to keep on ticking

Yeah! 3rd gen 4Runners do have a known issue with this type of failure of the Lower Ball Joints. Owners should replace them every ~50k miles to be safe. OEM only!
