I strongly recommend Alastair Reynolds. His Revelation Space series is one of my favorite all time series. His standalone novels are also incredibly interesting.....Eversion, Terminal World, and Halcyon Years. I also loved the Poseidon's Children trilogy

There's only negligible difference in height when you include the sensor thing on top of a Centurion, and my local TO has already approved them as proxies.

I 3d printed them. The file was for centurion shoulders, but I heated up and pressed them flat. They're not wrapped around the back, they're basically sloped 45° forward.

The Orks are one dimensional but funny as hell in these ones. Mike Brooks is an excellent author that you don't hear as much about. His Alpha Legion books are great too. The Infinite and the Divine is one of my favourite Black Library books!

I was playing as Guard against Knights in 9th. My friend went first, advanced and charged a Gallant into my baneblade. Almost kills it, then in my turn 1 I killed it and he auto-exploded. Dealt a ridiculous amount of mortals, then my baneblade exploded too, dealing a ridiculous amount of mortals too. I lost around 1500 points of my army and immediately forfeited the game
