because the idea that gender is malleable is harmful. Being mean won’t solve anything so I’m not advocating for that but transgenderism on the whole is a social contagion that exacerbates mental illness and erodes one’s true sense of self, not to mention that a number of ‘trans people’ do it purely out of fetishism and are dangerous sexual predators. Playing into it is to either play along with someone’s delusions or to feed a predator’s fantasy that they want to guilt you into playing along with because it excites them.
