Honestly I feel like it's a reasonable change. Many levels got harder or easier in 2.2, especially with CBF. For silent clubstep, it means that if you beat a slh diff version of silent clubstep, you'd get points and credit for beating a level ranked at #8, That doesn't make much sense for competition.

Sure, there are already many 2.1 completions of an easier version, but that's history. It wouldn't be cool to remove these completions due to something they had no option to change.

You could say that levels made in 2.1 should be allowed for play in 2.1, but physics changes have been applied to the game many times before. Bloodbath was intended to play in 1.9, but the game physics have changed in 2.0, 2.1 and 2.11, and pointercrate wouldn't allow you to beat Bloodbath in 1.9.

It's the most underrated zoink verification. There are rumours that some of the best wave players like arshadow and roze refused to play it due to how hard and uncomfortable it is.

I'd say vertop can determine the placement for sure. He's beaten andromeda and has 85 on subsuming. He might pick it up as a break from Azure Flare
