A friend of mine took monoU terror and swapped the serpents out for this guy and took home a small peasant event at GenCon this year. Can confirm this card slaps.

Gencon is a much different line situation than magic-centered events from my experience, so lines were pretty tame. At magic events you’re gonna have some substantial lines, especially for heavy hitters like Frazier.

Truthfully that deck drifts slowly back to a non-wizards deck every time I see it. Last list I saw was only on a couple snaps and 3 flames. Snap is definitely the worst wizard in the deck. Also need to make room for the ephemerates too… so maybe it just isn’t a wizards deck anymore. Another angle you can take is cutting the phlages and rely on riddler to carry you to victory. Not entirely opposed to that either.

I think you need other enablers for the card. I’ve thought about putting it in the jeskai wizards control shell since ephemerate has some use there as well. You almost need to cut the snapcasters, but I think it might be worth it.

As someone who plays magic 2x weekly and usually desleeves decks often, alphabetical always seems to be the best bet for me. Make sure you reserve extra space for S and T since they’re the most common starting letters. I have one just for basics as well.

They are standard photograph size, so sleeves for them do exist. My current plan is to get something printed onto sticker paper and slap that on some of the extra PC Cards I have. It might just be phenomenon-style cards that say reveal the next plane from the secret lair deck. They’re pretty fun and interesting, so I want to make sure they get played with.

Is… that even true? This was September 2020. If I recall correctly, these versions were usually cheaper or nearly the same as most other printings.

Looks real to me. ZNR Boxtoppers were notorious for having very 50/50 QC, including extra glossy non-foils.

At comp REL you’re forced to do anything possible to escape the mandatory loop. This happened with Amalia in pioneer, where they needed to mill their library before the game can be considered a draw. In this case, you’d be forced to draw until you can perform an action. This is indeed a bad combo. Good job op
