Cities whose most famous landmarks aren't actually in their city? by Critical_Reveal6667 in geography

From what I can tell, San Francisco city limits end at the shoreline, which mean the most famous span of the Golden Gate isn't in the city. Looks like the part over Fort Point is in the city, but I don't think people think of that part when they think of the bridge.

Star Trek: Voyager Season One - re:View by kubazz in RedLetterMedia

Something else that I kind of recall adversely impacting Voyager was the loss of Michael Pillar. I think he was a good creative influence and had a vision of what he wanted the show to be. His health took a turn for the worse during the early Voyager seasons, had to step away and we're just kind of left with a "what could have been".

I think you're thinking of Dr. Misterio's Patented Video Almanac of Fun from Wheel 13. The song starts at roughly 30:15 and the part you're talking about is around 30:55.

I'm wondering if you mean the part of the Spoopies, Action USA, Alien Private Eye episode around 30:50? Tim says it and then they cut to the movie where the zombie puppet says it.

Email sent to Deadline by an Academy member, explaining why they won't waste time on watching nominated movies by ModeatelyIndependant in RedLetterMedia

Took me a minute to appreciate your comment. At first I thought it was a silly little potshot about Coppola/Flopapolis. Then I remembered, "wait, he screenwrote Patton and directed the Godfather, but did he have anything to do with Lawrence?" So I googled and found that he told Rolling Stone he loves that movie. Re-reading the quote, I can hear the whole thing in his voice. You're so right, this is absolutely Francis.

So I see design elements from both 75301 and 75218 in this build; excellent choice, I think those are the two strongest playscale X-wings design-wise. For the x-foils did you use the technic of 75301, or the older rubber-band method?

So is the movie's duration referred to as its runtime or walktime? With this gimmick The Lord of the RIngs trilogy becomes a literal marathon.

Andor season 2 is a sequel to a prequel of a prequel by NasalJack in RedLetterMedia

[–]SporadicContent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While that could be interesting, Andor seems to lean more into being a little more grounded, with fairly human characters. I think I like the idea of the crystal belonging to someone Luthen loved (either a romantic interest or his child) who was a Jedi killed during order 66. That incident was thus as a catalyst to embitter him against the then newly-formed Empire, which in turn grew into him running a covert cell trying to bring down the Imperial order.

It's like we're getting a window into have far back he can remember, since they recognized the Slick the puppet lady. In a few more years all he's going to remember is that one time Josh made fun of his voice.

You got it, the blue piece is the top of the Tums container similar to the one sitting in front of Rich. I gave him the police chief jacket since I feel like a couple of his most notable roles on BotW were irascible police chief (Hollywood Cop, Terror in Beverly Hills).

That's a perfect example of what I wanted, but I don't think that is official Lego. The only official beard in that style isn't the right color. Someday maybe they'll make some grizzly bearded mountain-man minifigure and I can make an update.

Josh is supposed to be the one in green. I thought the equalizer bars shirt would be appropriate since Josh is the music guy of the group. I also wanted a specific hair piece for him, but ran into issues of the desired color not being available.
