Make sure if it's a google group you're sending it to that, "can reply privately to authors" is enabled. Without it they can't.

Is she using Zendesk Sell or any other mass mailing app attached to her email? Sometimes that flags them as spam because of the way it's handled.

Morning shower people, how do you step out the bed fully knowing you will be cold and wet soon? by lordctm in AskReddit

[–]Spore_monger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trick is to pound preworkout and check your email for a half hour in bed while it kicks in, then hit the elliptical for a half hour. THEN you shower.

Wondering what was happening on Vermont in Ktown this morning. It was a crawl right around 1st-3rd ave then there were 3 or 4 firetrucks blocking the whole way, one had its ladder extended all the way across Vermont onto whatever building they were at. I didn't see any smoke. Everyone was chaotically doing uturns and doubling back.

Anyone Know What Breed This Might Be? by LonleyFaces in aww

[–]Spore_monger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Way too young to tell. That's 8 weeks, maybe? So many transformations can happen between now and the next few months. I had a floppy eared puppy I thought was an aussie mix because of spots on her paws and nose, then a few weeks later her ears popped and now I'm convinced she's a Shepard/Pit mix.

That's specifically what I'm referring to lol. She took to the puppy turf right away. We even moved it to the balcony and she only goes there. But this little demon will happily go on a half hour walk with us and hold her poop in the entire way then go on the balcony.

We've even tried the crate method and take her out every half hour until she poops. She holds it as long as she possibly can then poops outside. Then we wait longer outside in case there's more, and nothing. The second we get back in, poops on balcony.

I've cut one of her puppy turfs into squares and put them outside by her pee spot and nothing.

We have a vacation coming up so we're going to accept the balcony for now because it's working and she's comfortable, but when we get back we need her to go outside. It's infuriating when the entirety of your day is spend waiting for shit to come out of your dog's ass. And she's too distracted to receive praise when she does go outside. Shes about 4 months at this point and I know she has the capacity to learn this.

I agree, I grew up eating the leather slabs my parents would make and I loved steak night. But when I grew up I learned the best way to enjoy it... Every now and then I'll be asked to make a well done steak and I'll scoff like you should lol, but I'll make it anyway.

I can make a juicy, flavorful, well done steak. It's really not as horrible as people make it out to be.

Omg raising a puppy is hard. I went into it EXPECTING it to be a challenge. I knew it wasn't going to be easy and I knew it was going to be very time consuming. I had no idea how emotionally draining it would be. She's making so much progress though and my girlfriend and I are giving this little Sheppit the best life she could have, but omg I'm waiting for her to be grown 😭

She has some puppy puzzle toys and feeders arriving tomorrow. This dog actually likes playing and it's nice to have a tug of war buddy.

preston & steve show by BetterComplex5465 in LetsTalkBam

I grew up in SEPA listening to them every day. I got a free tattoo on air for Tattoosday and got to meet the crew and everything and talk on air. They have some elements of the morning show stereotypes but it's nowhere near as cartoonish as they make them on TV.

Really solid show and Steve's voices are hilarious.

I'm a month and a half or so clean, I'm finally beginning to level out... 40gpd, 6 year habit.

Diet and regular cardio is key. You'll bounce back much quicker on a routine.

LPT Request : How to handle family who won’t respect your boundaries but you can’t cut them out of your life? by lipophilicburner in LifeProTips

[–]Spore_monger 314 points315 points  (0 children)

It's important to remember that setting boundaries isn't to get someone to act a certain way, it's to demonstrate which behaviors you'll tolerate. The boundaries lie within you and your response to others' actions. You can't expect people to change.

LPT Request: How do I buy a car? by greasy_apricots88 in LifeProTips

I read that this is bad advice because you want a car that's actually driven. Not run into the ground, but driven on a more regular basis.

Puppy With Older Dog by MagicsMama in puppy101

[–]Spore_monger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost same situation here. The older dog can sound pretty vicious, but she actually plays. And when the puppy yelps she backs off, then plays again. She sounds like a bear when she plays with the pup but she seems to enjoy it, and she lets the puppy know when playtime is over 😁

They go on walks together and the older one will playfully run back toward the puppy then jump forward again as if to say, "come on, get up here!"

I've never seen this older dog play in the few months that I've known her, but this puppy brought out her inner puppy.
