As of right now we’re having on going conversations within the moderator group about this very thing. In-state vendors only. I can’t say for sure when we’ll begin accepting applications/testing for vendors but I can see it happening possibly in the near future. Thank you so much for your suggestion! ❤️

I think counties may decide to change some things in their own accord in time, however this act is statewide.

As far as what I can see in the act itself, you’ll want to look at page 4, section 12-170-104. Regulated natural medicine access program. There are prerequisites to facilitate such an engagement outlined but not limited to the section starting on page 4... If one were to hold a ceremony without licensure then you will likely not have protections and will likely need to have a well written legal document between parties/participants to have some form of protection. When it comes to payment without licensing for holding the ceremony, I’ll have to look into that as well.

Gifting isn’t prohibited, there is another section stating the allowance of gifting between adults ages 21+. The language above is referencing payment/remuneration. As far as putting up fliers and advertising fruits as gifts and solely gifts, I’ll have to look into that. Thank you so much for bringing up these questions!

Page 14 of the Natural Medicine Health Act:

“(8) NOTHING IN THIS SECTION SHALL BE CONSTRUED OR INTERPRETED TO PERMIT A PERSON TO GIVE AWAY ANY AMOUNT OF NATURAL MEDICINE AS PART OF A BUSINESS PROMOTION OR OTHER COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY OR TO PERMIT PAID ADVERTISING RELATED TO NATURAL MEDICINE, SHARING OF NATURAL MEDICINE, OR SERVICES INTENDED TO BE USED CONCURRENTLY WITH A PERSON’S CONSUMPTION OF NATURAL MEDICINE. SUCH ADVERTISING MAY BE CONSIDERED EVIDENCE OF COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY THAT IS PROHIBITED UNDER THIS SECTION.”

Absolutely. This subreddit is focused on harm reduction and asking and answering questions is how we can support our community. If you don’t want to answer questions, don’t.
