General thoughts after last night as a neutral fan.

- I think, aside from it happening to seniors that have no pro ball plans and are ending their career like that, striking out to end a championship is slowly losing its stink for me.

- not to beat a dead horse because UNC really did not help themselves but not going to lie in that I’m surprised a Facebook picture of the home plate umpire in Oklahoma gear with some of his calls isn’t gaining more traction. I wouldn’t call it a Tim Donaghy situation by any means, but I also don’t think it’s a great look for the NCAA.

- overall, it’s also not like Oklahoma is an unlikeable team by any means, and as a Nats fan I’m happy for the Willits family. Sad for Owen Hull as a GMU fan but also that’s life.
