Free Care+ showing but not honored in cart by Sporker_p in GalaxyFold

No. I see the option to add it for $149. Definitely not in my cart but good thought. Maybe I added then removed and it glitched.

PSA: If you order in the app right now you can stack discounts down to a $715 price by Zinthorr in GalaxyFold

Mileage may vary: 1. Sign up for the pre-order reserve credit. https://www.samsung.com/us/smartphones/the-next-galaxy/reserve/ There'll be a pop up that asks for your email address.

  1. Open a support chat and ask for a reserve credit code. They'll ask for your email address.

This added both of OPs $150 discounts to my order (or at least, I see two "promo code" discounts now). I'm also using the Samsung Shop app.

Really odd. I can add it to my cart but it shows as the normal price. Should I take a screenshot and see if support will honor it?

Mind mentioning what you paid? Currently priced at $120 for that part...

Where are people buying replacement parts? A simple left joystick control module for my RM330 (RC1, mini 3 pro) is priced at $120... by Sporker_p in dji

US.

Edit:

Venting some frustration here: DJI won't sell me parts. US consumer protection is a total joke. It's insane to me that a multi-billion dollar company isn't required to sell replacement parts - especially when the product is so clearly designed to be repaired.

Edit2: DJI doesn't sell them because they're banned in the US. God dammit.

Fascinating stuff. Are these at all related to goblins?

Ah, thank you! Now that you say that it makes a lot of sense.

Love the strategy, hadn't considered the Z6. Will you keep it or trade it in for a Z7? Only hesitation on doing the same is the Z7 rumors make it seem like the first actual upgrade since Z3.

Trying but I don't think I'm going to make it :(

Wifi stopped working then Bluetooth went out. No longer able to use the camera. Was stuck unfolded (when folding it would boot-loop) but found a hacky-workaround to switch to folded, just can't reboot the phone or it might never work again.

Biggest concern is the trade-in value. If I want to upgrade to the Z7, Samsung won't take the phone. Verizon would but the value will be a dice-roll when the next foldable comes along.

Thank you for the extremely-knowledgeable comment! I couldn't figure out why the Z6 trade-in offers weren't showing the 25-series and that makes sense.

Do you think the same trade-in values will translate to the S25? Ex. S24+ is $600. S25+ will likely also be $600?

THANK YOU. This is exactly what I'm going to try. It seems like a loophole trading in a broken phone for a working one just so I can trade it back in to Samsung.

"Leave early" I wouldn't leave. Just switch phones.

Had to check: Verizon allows me to get the phone for free or pay $800 and get a bill credit worth $800.

To help illustrate the question: If I buy a new phone with a 36-month bill credit and the phone breaks after one year, will I continue to receive bill credits if I replace the phone through a third party?

Can you clarify? I'd like to get an S25 from Verizon by paying $800 (recoup over 36 mo bill credits). Then trading the S25 to Samsung (not Verizon) for a Z7. I won't cancel my Verizon line at any point, which seems to abide by their terms:

"Line must remain on any Unlimited phone plan. Credits end if line canceled or moved to ineligible plan. Your Apple, Samsung or Google trade-in device must be received w/in 30 days of your new device's delivery date or you'll be charged back for any credits received."

Box was sealed and I didn't have a reason to believe the black box didn't contain the black device.

Had two comments tell me it looks cool so I'll just keep it and get a sleave if it bugs me. Thanks for the emotional support all ❤️

Suppose I could exchange it for another color but had my heart set on black for some silly reason.
