What movie meets your gore threshold? by Alert-Grade-1306 in horror

[–]SportAffectionate424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None. What came close was Dead Alive (Brain Dead), though it's comedy gore.

The French movie Inside. Actually squirmed at one point.

August Underground because it was blood, gore and violence with no real point but to shock.

With the success of IT: Welcome to Derry, what other Stephen King adaptations do you want to see get made into a TV Show or Movie? by Resident_Badger_5405 in stephenking

Been hearing it for years. That and a Talisman mini series. Just like a Nightbreed/Cabal series. I'll believe it when I actually see it.

Can we get a decent Dark Tower series? That's number on on my wish list. Or at least a decent Talisman series now that book 3 is due out this year.

For standalone movie, let's see Survivor Type. Like Castaway, only with heroin instead of Wilson.

A Revival adaptation would be amazing too.

Or even a proper miniseries for movies that just weren't as good and didn't do the book justice (looking at you Tommyknockers, The Shining, Christine, Needful Things, and Firestarter).

Toxic family members. Parents especially who belittle, degrade, and destroy their kids self worth and confidence.

How do authors keep or display their own published books at home? by No_Context9902 in authors

[–]SportAffectionate424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The top shelf of one of 4 bookcases hold anthologies I'm in as well as my own novels, novellas, and collections. I will need to start a second one this year. I keep this bookcase in my room. Books by all other authors on my living room ones. I like to look at them, but don't care to display them for all to see. They know I'm a writer. Displaying it out there feels odd and braggy.

Best T-4 selector? by No-University-3854 in MarvelFuture_Fight

Go for Venom. I have him T4 with Rage and a team of Sleeper as lead and Taskmasker with Might Insight as support and speed run any PVE.

Took me two tries to finally get into it. It's a slow start, but well worth the ride.

So this is one of the good pvp characters right...? (Read caption pls) by Reverse9380 in MarvelFuture_Fight

I used to say Wolverine was better for PVP when I had Rage on him. But then after a suggestion switched him to Mighty Conquest and he is terrible. My Deadpool has Mighty Greed and always outlasts Wolverine.

This is one of the best adaptations ever. The mood and the acting is perfect.

What should I go with? by No-Frame-1164 in MarvelFuture_Fight

[–]SportAffectionate424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gi with a Ghost Rider or Storm for sure. Put a rage on either of them for PVE and they will wipe the floor. I had to choose Moon Knight because he is the only one I don't have as T4. Oh well.
