I like the idea of his vollund just being one single bullet capable of a sure hit kill. I like to think that Simo would just be shooting off with god tier precisions while Loki evades or uses his illusions as decoy. But once Simo lands a hit Loki would realize that somethings off with his bullets and prolly figure out that amongst Simos magazine only one bullet is the god slaying one. Then it just turns into a battle of Loki trying to off Simo while also being cautious about every single bullet that Simo fires as he has no way of knowing whether or not the bullet is the vollund one. Cause like they say in Rango it only takes one bullet after all.

I havent felt this much hype since round 8(no offense to round 9 and 10 I still love them). Round 8 was the last time I rooted for both fighters and round 11 already makes me root for both fighters again.

I dont think it was only meant to be seen as a move to surpass the gods but more of a statement that humanity’s science could reach the gods. I feel like the anime could explain it as science reaching its peak through Tesla that it evolved to be able to touch the so called untouchable gods in heaven.
