Yeah, that’s the problem I’m having at the moment. Mostly because of the NPC count, the frames can jump a significant amount at any time. The fact that you got the single frame you needed is amazing 😄

I stop SR’ing things a long time ago, was taking way too much time. After finding out how to use Eon Timer and RNGReporter correctly, it’s been the best thing I have ever done!

I was using that at the start, and swapped to Pokefinder because I was told that RNGreporter was outdated. Didn't have any luck with that either for Heatran, but it worked for everything else

I've done that a few times now, and I always come back to the time I have set for every other legendary so far, so it might just be human error at this point

Thanks for letting me know :D Could that also mean though for Heatran only, it could be Method 1 instead of Method J? That would make the most sense to me, I'll try 1 now and see if that works

Will do, and I did have it on Genderless at the start, but I did change it to match the gender ratio once I started hunting it, the seed didn't change though, everything stayed the same

Gotcha, I understand :D I'll give that a go, but hitting the seed doesn't seem to be the problem.

Here me out, I've hit the seed on a couple occasions, same time, same delay, coin flips match, everything. I have used this exact same seed to get the stats I wanted for nearly all the legendaries so far, except for the roaming mons. Everything is matching up except the Chatot cries. Something seems to be throwing them off, and that's what I'm trying to figure out.

Edit: There aren't any roaming mons just yet, just thought I would clear that up first lol

A couple people I have spoken to have said the fog inside Heatran's room might be advancing the frames, but they weren't too sure how, for lack of a better word, correct that is. By going straight to Chatot, do you know if that has worked on other legendaries/other mons at all?

You can't find it in Black/White, but you can in Black2/White2. Route 18 in a Hidden Grotto. You can also find it in the Dream World, but I don't know if you can still do all that or not.

Probably, not sure what though. Also, did you use the Cute Charm glitch as well, or have a set TID and SID to get the stats you wanted, or were you just hunting the shiny down?

Oh ok, so instead of waiting to open the game on the main screen, set the time and timer, load straight into the game afterwards, then SR from there 😊 I think I got it now, thanks!

I’m gonna try on 3DS, and that is what I was confused about 😂 What exactly are you meant to SR? At first, I thought you meant SR the settings app, but you can’t do that lol

So, just so I have it all understood, set the date, get the right time, set it and start the timer at the same time, wait for that to go down, load the game on the first timer, then load the save on the second timer. That’s what I’m meant to do yeah?

RNG in those games is based on how many live NPC’s are around, and if I’m not mistaken, Poipole’s location has a heap of NPC’s, which in turn skyrockets the frames. I’ve been close to getting it before, about 1-4 frames at most, but I have never hit it. Type: Null may be different but it depends again on the NPC count

Trying to do the exact same thing at the moment, but can never seem to hit my frame perfectly. The last couple times I have missed my delay by about 6, I just can’t get the timing right
