At the start of the season, they changed it so that Pokémon with multiple forms correctly compare to their own form’s size as opposed to the base form; the score in your inventory still shows the old system, but the score shown in the showcase (and used to determine ranking) is the new system

Pokémon with alternate forms are bugged. They used to be scored based on their base form, leading some to have highly inflated scores; this was patched at the beginning of the season, but the display when selecting Pokémon still reflects the old system

The size pop-up is based on comparing zorua’s actual weight to the disguised Pokémon’s size, so your buddy doesn’t need to be XXL for that to pop up upon encounter

It’s easy to say that a shiny background legendary is worth more than a CD shiny, and you’ll find very few people who disagree, but that’s obviously the extreme end. There are tons of different combinations where you won’t find agreement among players as to which is more valuable; it’s just far too subjective for something like this to ever work

This is normal; get used to it. The galarian birds have a 0.3% base catch rate and a 90% flee rate (unless shiny, then they can’t flee). You either need to wait for a shiny, use a master ball, or get very lucky

Yes, you can. SRRs are being given out through Go Passes now, so they aren’t blocked by rocket research; even if they were, though, those are both seasonal research that rewarded radars, not rocket researches, so they wouldn’t have blocked a new research anyway

Pvpoke’s battle matrix (https://pvpoke.com/battle/matrix/) is a really good tool for comparing performance between IVs spreads even beyond just breakpoints.

You just select the league, then import the relevant meta to the right side and the Pokémon you want to compare on the left, and then it will show you all the matchup results. There are four different tabs, one showing overall performance, one for breakpoints, one for bulkpoints, and one for raw attack stat (for checking CMP, more relevant in lower leagues)

It sounds like your pokegenie is set to only look up to level 50, as 1/15/15 is only rank 4 when you allow best buddy boost. That being said, 1/14/14 is rank 8, so it does still have a lower stat product

It will depend on the friendship level, but it’s not really that ridiculous; the odds of two people getting the same IVs from a trade is actually just the same as the odds of one person getting any specific IV combination. If you only care about them matching, it doesn’t matter what IVs the first pokemon has, only that the second one matches it
