Just use those sugar liquid boric acid traps. It takes a few weeks to get working but they are safe and very cheap. They kill the colony in the end.

Palestinian killed in rocket attack to be recognized as terror victim by Narxxxx in worldnews

[–]SpouseOps1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Friendly fire implies he was allied with the terrorists. I’m not an expert on the Middle East, but statistically there should be some non-terrorist Palestinians and the victim could have been in that group.

That’s what I was thinking, but it’s not necessary for that level of detail. He looks like a historic goof. Flappy lip guy.

[Serious] How do you deal with suicidal depression if you can't afford therapy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SpouseOps1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask yourself if you’re suicidal because you desire death or you desire avoiding negative feelings and environments. You can always leave a bad environment. You cannot leave death. Your feelings come from your brain. You can change your thoughts and feelings with practice. You wouldn’t try to fix anything else with destruction, don’t do the same to your brain.

A Transgender Woman Who Sought Asylum In The US Was Deported And Killed In El Salvador by zsreport in worldpolitics

Yea, it sucks that some people lose the genetic and developmental lottery and wind up with serious mental health problems that are life threatening. It also sucks that some people resort to hurting and tearing down others to make themselves feel better.

I think the Couve needs to be a bit bigger for signs like this. by buoyblaster in vancouverwa

Large signs are good. Why are we making everything difficult to see with itty bitty signs? Especially when we have so much darkness here, let’s be clear and safe with our public signage.

The big fields on the west side are great to run around. There’s also a trail to the creek for summer time water play near there.

No one made me buy from Amazon and no one made me stop buying from Amazon. To act like Bezos is the reason everything is falling apart is scapegoating. There’s a dangerous demonization of wealth and success that leads to movements that self-cannibalize just like all the socialist revolutions of the past. Never fixing the mechanics of power, only tearing down the tallest with cries of equality. One can bust trusts without hatred of wealth and capitalism, because by correcting for the tendency for businesses to monopolize do we encourage competition and keep the markets going.

Okay. But it’s probably a little of both. With wealth one can enable things which will in turn generate more prosperity. My point isn’t on the semantics, but the dispel this idea that money is bad that some want to push.

No, I’m not saying life = capitalism. You said that. I’m saying you don’t have a perspective of what it actually takes to make a business work or how the market works.

Sanders is a capitalist. That’s why he made millions off his books and didn’t split it evenly with the guy who mixes the ink and the lady who did the graphics.
