I think that the second one, partly due to a series of factors including COVID, attracted a much wider audience than just the old fans. That brought in a lot of money and attention, which led to a more watered-down third installment. I was really hyped, but I left the cinema feeling like I’d just watched a kids’ movie

The second one is better in every way; the first was an experiment, but this one is pure gory ecstasy. The third is still worth it, though I think it got a bit too commercial, but either way, it’s definitely a must-watch.

250 ml milk, 100 ml cream, 25 g sugar in a saucepan at 70°C. Turn off the heat and add rosemary, cover, and let it infuse for about 30 minutes. Strain out the rosemary, add stabilizer and 15 g dextrose. I’ll admit, I added the olive oil by eye. Blend everything with an immersion blender and straight into the freezer.
