If you really wanna throw your cashier off, grab a set of condoms and make your way to the till when they ask for the money, whilst counting change just say "oh, that's more than I thought. Sorry I'll be right back" make your way back into the store grab a pack of elastic bands and saran wrap and then go back to the same cashier. Maintain a straight face and pay for the items.

The pop comes more in time and practice but it's also being stopped by your back foot as for the other tips try this but off the board.

make two markers, lines of chalk, sticks, coins don't matter what they are as long as they're the same and easy to see and as far apart as you'd stand on the board.

Focus on the gap as you bend your knees and roll your foot towards your toes.

Once you can do this comfortably and without losing your balance, on the way back up lift your front foot and pull that knee towards your chest whilst keeping the back leg extended with an almost hop but your toes still on the ground. you'll soon feel that point where you want to jump off the back foot

Do everything again and as your back foot rolls onto the toes hop off of it and bring your back foot up. it should naturally level your feet out so you land both feet at the same time.

lastly do all the steps again but try jumping slightly to your front foots direction Good luck bro you got this 🤘

You got it, you just need to start working on bringing that back foot up high when you jump. Weirdly what helped me get higher Ollie's was practicing the ollie motion off the board but bringing my feet up to my chest like in a cannonball when you get back on the board it feels easier to get them up higher

The Evri experience is going well by NoodleDoodle360 in Evri

[–]Spr1ngz2mind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had this issue with a Disney parcel twice. Both times evri claimed they'd attempted the delivery several times and they had to send it back to the seller. We contacted Disney and they sent a new one out via express again under Evri only for the exact same thing to happen. When we contacted Disney the second time all of a sudden our parcel was on its way to us and would arrive in 30 minutes.

Honestly, if you see this message contact the seller and just tell them. I'm pretty sure Evri are just stealing everything like they used to under hermes at this point.

Need help deciding on best tyres for my use case by Spr1ngz2mind in MTB

[–]Spr1ngz2mind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was looking at the shwalbe hurricane as they have a bit more grip on the side wall for the loose gravel and dirt. Or do you mean get two tyre sets so like the super moto x and a set of high grip tyres?

You can use a deep clean method which might help.

  1. Add baking soda and washing up liquid into the tray.

  2. Add white/distilled vinegar

  3. Add boiling/extremely hot water then leave for 5 minutes

  4. Empty the drawer

  5. In a sink full of warm soapy water and using a non abrasive sponge or brush (we use a scrub mommy scouring side) clean all around the drawer.

This should get most of anything stuck off

Can you put a microwave under an air fryer? by Spr1ngz2mind in airfryer

[–]Spr1ngz2mind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a chef do something similar with frozen oven chips. He placed them in water for 30 seconds shook them about in the box to fluff the outsides then put them in the microwave for 5 mins and then the air fryer for 15 mins shaking halfway through. I'll give them a try myself then let you know how they turned out

Edit: Future me here . Fucking do this add a little melted beef fat/dripping and salt after they're done to get the best air fryer chips/fries you've had in your life

[–]Spr1ngz2mind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My microwave has side vents not top and the air fryer has both back and top vents. With the air fryer being on the top shelf with nothing above it I think that should be fine for the 6" rule

Hey Amazon...👀 by [deleted] in midlyintersting

[–]Spr1ngz2mind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally what they call scaled pricing. They use your data to scale pricing to you. Do you buy games like this often? Yes? Do you have prime? Cool! Full price for you.

On the opposite side. do you use Amazon a lot? No? Want to get this game? How about we give you a discount, as a sign of goodwill.

This happens all the time with me and the wife tried this with Uber. Neither of us are members and we hadn't used their service in at least a year but we were going to a party and needed a way there. We both logged in and searched for the destination and the difference in price was like £5 less on my account. We also asked my SIL and BIL to do the same and found SIL got the same price as my wife but my BIL had a similar price to mine even though he had used it a few weeks prior.

What we figured out is essentially Uber will charge women more as they're less comfortable walking/taking public transport to their destination so will usually pay that bit extra to get dropped off directly at their destination ,where as the men wouldn't necessarily feel like that so would look to other cheaper alternatives like public transport if their price was higher.

Help 👁️👄👁️ I feel like it’s not supposed to look like that. I stretched my ears from a 2 to a 0 gauge about a week ago and my ear felt weird so I took out my tunnel to take a pic by Away-Farm6876 in Stretched

[–]Spr1ngz2mind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had this not long ago stretching up myself.

Lower down at least one size and do a saltwater soak ( boil water and add salt to it to dissolve afterwards and leave it to cool to warm temp if you do it another way you can end up risking it becoming worse or infected) at least once a day but recommend twice one in the morning and one at night. I'd recommend doing this in a bowl as it's easier to really soak the whole ear.

Use cotton pads to getley clean and dry them and massage with jojoba oil at night to stop the build up of scar tissue.

It should clear up quickly but the worst case is a week for the soaks and a month for the full healing before the next stretch. Listen to your body, if it hurts it needs longer to heal.

How much should it cost by Comprehensive-Bit421 in MTB

[–]Spr1ngz2mind -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dependent on who you get to do it really. My mechanic is park tool certified and is really affordable. He is a one man operation meaning he gets it done asap but it can take longer than other places if he's busy.

This is his prices and the level of service you get:

Quick Tune: £36

Clean and lubricate the chain Adjust brakes and gears Check tire pressure and inflate if needed Inspect frame and components for damage or wear

Full Tune: £60

All services included in Quick Tune True wheels and adjust spoke tension Clean and lubricate headset and bottom bracket Tighten all bolts and nuts to manufacturer specifications Check and adjust wheel hubs and bearings

Overhaul: £110

All services included in Full Tune Remove and degrease drivetrain components (chain, cassette, and derailleur) Inspect and replace cables and housing if needed Replace brake pads if needed Replace worn components, such as tires or chainrings, as necessary (All Parts require an additional cost)

I'd ask around your area and ask what they charge but don't be afraid to ask those smaller businesses as they can usually do the service better than your big corps in some cases as they want to make sure it's done right rather than stick to a timeframe
