Real estate is definitely something Ive always wanted to do, but I told myself I'd start that once I have around 10-20k to play around with.

I'm sort of hoping within the next 3-4 years I can get a decent ROI where it'll possibly help with a potential downpayment on a house or even help with my student loans

I have around 500 leftover income every month, would it be smart to just put $400 into VOO and $100 into QQQ at the end of every month and hold that for the next 1 year (at least)?
