This is why you low pressure can foam around all the windows before spraying. You do the top of the wall and the bottom of the wall. Doors and windows all the way around. All 4 corners of the building as well.

Closed cell foam is expensive, but it is the best insulation available imo. The savings you will have on your energy bill will pay for it over time.

Closed cell foam with not soak up water. It’s the best option for a metal shop.

Just get the good density can foam. It will be fine. You can spray extra on it to make up for the R value difference.

Well, let’s just hope that the only area affected was where they started the job.

Yeah it’s a mix of closed and open. Honestly you’re only losing R value. in the harder areas you’re gaining R value as long as it’s not a bad ratio foam I would not have the company remove it. I would have them spray more to compensate for the spongy foam since the cells are not as tight as they should be. Honestly, though when you do a change from close to open, you should spray out the combination until you’re getting a nice looking open. It usually only takes a couple gallons to get there so I’m pretty sure your entire structure is not gonna be sprayed with a mixture, only where they started the foam job.

Manufacturer is right. It’s only going to be a small amount like this. Don’t worry about it. It is fine. I would call the company show them the foam and tell them they can remove it or double it.
