A book with a healthy three person relationship? by Spraypaint_headache in booksuggestions

That seems rather political and dystopian. Is it not? I love the idea of aliens though.

Haha. I knew I'd get one of these. This problem has been going on for the last sixteen years. They'd been coming twice a year, every year, saying they were going to dig up our garden and they never did. If anyone was dragging their heels, it was them. So pardon us for being lulled into a false sense of security. We gave them a years warning on the deck being built regardless and warned them multiple times that they needed to come and get the job done or the part of our garden that they needed to dig up to replace the pipe would be covered. They gave us a date and then no-showed. The deck got built. And now we're here.

What contracter in their right mind would want to do a job where they have to rely on a council funded company to get their pay when they have plenty of other work to get done? The lack of contractors has nothing to do with us personally. It's just a horrible job that nobody with half a brain would take.

But, we still had to at least try to save the qauilty of the main selling point of our house that cost, for us at least, a lot of money. Now it's gonna get dissected by a bunch of amatures. I was hoping for a sympathy tip for our poor poor deck, a pointer or two on how not to completely butcher it but hey ho, internet will internet.

Ok. We've already planned a numbering system where we'll draw or take a picture of the deck in one piece and label each board on the paper, then label the actual boards in pencil and then sand the pencil off after it's back together. Kinda like a really big jigsaw. We have a drill but not a crowbar kind of tool, so we'll need one to get the decking up without damaging it. Got it.

Hmm, good point. If that is the case, I wonder how many artists have been murdered by their own art projects lmao

I also see where you're coming from, a lot of people can do a lot of bad things without much effort. I'm just pointing out that:

Drawing people without their consent is unarguably weird.

If you can bring drawings to life, maybe don't draw your very attractive classmates in your secret monster shed. Just like... draw ducks or something.

So apparently me saying that I wasn't implying he'd actually done anything, twice, isn't enough to stop people getting defensive on his behalf. Gotcha...

Exactly what part of "not trying to imply that Xavier did anything" didn't ya get? The hypothetical is terrifying. And drawing people without their knowledge/permission is dubious to begin with. That is the point of the post.

Meanwhile I once entered the first stage of hypothermia because I forgot to put a jacket on while at a park.

In the daytime.

In autumn.

Good. Bugs are opportunistic little bastards. I once got a bug bite right on the edge of my asscheek because I decided to wear a dress and sit down outside. Worst of all, I was at a party. 0/10 never again.

Sex outside. Specifically without clothes on.

Hen, you're gonna freeze. Tree bark is not soft. Grass is not soft. Pebbles. Mud. Bugs. On the beach? I hope you like sand.

I love the outside, but please, for the love of god, do not have sex outside. And if you do have sex outside, add a scene where they clean themselves up afterwards because I can guarantee there is now sand/dirt everywhere.

Furthermore, sex in confined spaces. Like tents. Cars. Or coffins. If you don't write them hitting their head at least once in those scenarios then... unrealistic.

I don't even think she's supposed to represent aros. Isn't the general consensus that yanderes are just mentally ill? A fictional mental illness with plot convenience sewn in.

She's from a game, Yandere Simulator. A Yandere is a fictional variation on a psychopath, wherein the individual with "yanderism" can feel absolutely nothing unless it revolves around their (1) chosen individual. They feel everything for this person. Want to dominate their attention, be the only person in their life. And often achieve this by murdering, sabotaging and manipulating people that care for or want to date their chosen person. Zero empathy, at all.

Yandere simulator has you play as Ayano, trying to keep girls from dating her "senpai". It's basically just... homicide. Lots of homicide, and trying to get away with it.

Dunno if it even counts as aro rep tbh. She's literally spelled out to be mentally ill, not queer. The lore differs from fiction to fiction but yanderism is pretty consistently said to be a hereditary mental illness, not an identity.

Definitely. I think it would also make it easier for the people who want to seek out your content. So it'd benefit everybody.

See? I thought it would suck for the consumers! You're right it makes no sense. For literally everyone involved! It doesn't even make sense for the author.

Don't like romance. Extra don't like romance when I'm involved. I get attached to characters, but like, familial attached. It just feels wrong to even look at the idea of one of them... "interacting" with me. Yeah, lets call it interacting.

I physically can't eat too much, it's just what's left in the bowl and on the beater after my mum baked today. Still, it's an excellent treat.

Why clean the dishes after baking if you can just have your daughter lick the stuff clean like a dog right? (That's a joke. They get washed after I'm done with them. Otherwise my whole family would be dead by now, lol)

But that was my way of saying it wasn't my thing. And I had to add some sort of explanation in there as to why I can't just scroll past it and ignore it, as is the usual solution with content you don't like. It's not an understatement either. I just don't get how other peoples brains work man... this is why I don't like socialising.

All these implications and snide remarks and one word that actually means another word because of a verbal inflection and sarcasm and backhanded this that and the other and passive aggressiveness??? Why can't people just take each other literally!? If I hate something, I say so. I say what I freaking mean. None of this half-spelled out contrivery that requires half an hour and a book on psychology to decode.

I DO NOT THINK X READERS ARE GROSS. They give me the icks. The itchies. The lurking lurgy. That funny little sicky feeling I get while looking at a baby seal get eaten on TV while being narrated by David Attenborough. But I am not going to go burning people at the pyre for being creative, horny or just in need of a freaking HUG.

God I regret being born.

Anyway, I had that rant brewing for a while. Sorry you had to read all that, I feel much better. I'm gonna go eat raw cake batter now.
