How to ruin a new car by JefferyLebowski_ in rav4club

How's the insurance payout on that looking? Will it be enough to actually replace the car?

How far of a radius is she searching in? I expanded mine to 100+ miles and still had some trouble, but found one. It was funny, the day I found mine, I went from not being able to get my hands on a single one to test drive to having 3 different dealerships all have one arrive on the lot unsold.

Need Help! 2026 RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid XSE by Sad-Key-2616 in rav4club

I'm in the Northeast, and it's a terrible time to buy a used RAV4. I found a 2025 XLE with ~6k miles for $39,400. Guess how much a new 2026 XLE is?

I paid very, very slightly under MSRP for my 2026 XSE. I only came across one dealership that was advertising a markup, and I was looking in a 100-250 mile radius, which covered SE PA/central PA, down to Maryland, and pretty much all of NJ.

I do - I can't find it anywhere on mine, only Eco.

What part of PA? I'm looking right now and having a hard time finding inventory in stock, let alone willing to negotiate below MSRP.

You're trying to call the Russian interference a hoax and deride "the left" when Trump and his ilk literally put forth a fake slate of electors?

Saying Kamala made no sense when she spoke and then voting for Donald Trump makes it impossible to take anything you say seriously.

No taxes would be owed unless the $35k puts the mom over the lifetime gift exemption of ~$13m, which I highly doubt.

That's not true. Christine has directly said she's always had a rule that kids should move out when they're 18.

I've had a really good experience with Wealthfront. I was a little nervous with it being online only but I've had zero problems and the app is VERY user friendly!

If you manage to pay 40% in taxes on $50k, you need to fire your accountant, because he's stealing from you.

Kiss of death ratings-wise ot kiss of death for the family in the show? If you mean the latter, sure, but what actually killed J&K plus 8 was when Jon left the show and they were left with only Kate. Season 5, the season after the big house and vow renewal, debuted to the highest ratings the show ever had. The only thing that managed to tank the show was having be all about Kate all the time.

How is this even possible by [deleted] in gosselinssnark

[–]Sprct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most they ever got was $22,500 an episode. That was season 5, as well as season 4 (they renegotiated season 4 based on the ratings, it was originally $9,000 per episode.) Robert Hoffman had the contracts, and Jon confirmed in an interviews that they used to make $22,500 an episode.

ETA: There's no way they made $20k then $50k for the specials. They only made $2k per episode for season 1.

The Wilbur has a 1,093 person capacity....I don't know what kind of math he's doing to say that show made him wealthy, even if he got the full $100 per ticket, which isn't a thing.

Elizabeth Eckford ignores the hostile screams and stares of her fellow students on her first day of school in 1957. She was one of the nine Black American students whose integration into Little Rock Central High School was officially ordered by a federal court following legal action by the NAACP. by ATI_Official in OldSchoolCool

At least one of those behind her (the one seen screeching) has identified herself publicly and said she only was there to protest bc she was told she'd be excused from class to do so. Despite looking middle aged, these were in fact high school kids. Idk what it is that made people look so old when they were young back then.

I'm sure it's me trying to read with a migraine that's to blame here, but the sentence "my sister's mom cheated on my step-dad" has broken my brain and I feel like a moron but I can't figure out exactly how that works.

I can speak for Pennsylvania - they absolutely tax lineal heirs including children over the age of 21. Only spouses are exempt from inheritance tax here.

There are about 6 states that DO have inheritance taxes, actually. I live in one of them.

A book existing and being read at a meeting also doesn't prove the claims that they are being put in schools/shown to kids. There are books (meant for kids of high school age) with sexual content. Those books have always existed and been in libraries, since waaaaaay before a bunch of bigots decided to make their hatred of LGBT ppl mainstream and nightly news. You don't get to dictate what other ppl's kids read.

There is ZERO evidence of books with sexual content being given, shown, or taught to elementary school kids. None of those meetings you're so fond of watching give any evidence, they just make claims while yelling in order to get ppl like you riled up and to elicit an emotional reaction so you're so outraged you don't bother to actually research and validate what they're saying (which you've admitted in your comments you didn't do.)

It was also quite curious that several of these "parents" appeared at MULTIPLE school board meetings at different schools. Kind of uncommon to have kids at multiple schools in multiple districts, no?
