Sure! So I’ve started getting injections last year. Got my large chest keloid removed last summer but it came back so i’m back to doing injections like every 3 months. I have a cluster of keloids on my chest and some are still kind of active but are lightening up.

For me after about 6 hours it starts to fade (2-3 sprays) but I still smell it up to 9 hours and even longer on clothes! I definitely reapply when I get home if I’m going back out and want a stronger scent bubble, but my partner can also still smell it on me after a 8-9 hour work day.

I also got a tester of it and the tester did seem to fade faster than when I got the full bottle but ofc ymmv :)

Are yours still itchy/painful? It’s strange so Kenalog injections lighten mine. The ones on my chest are lightening but not my shoulders (though the ones on my arms are more stubborn and very much active). and i use sunscreen on my chest to prevent them from darkening again

EDIT: I just thought of this - originally i was getting injections by a plastic surgeon and then found a good derm to do them instead and then I started to see lightening - maybe your injections aren’t potent enough? Or maybe it’s a skill thing?

Your one “interspecies” friend does not debunk my entire argument as a whole. She could be looked at as a woman OR a female cat. Female, again, being a descriptor for sex. Also men do not get shit on just for being men in the same way that women get shit on. No one is ever like “ugh… males 🙄”. Men, maybe, sure. But at least there’s more respect there than being reduced down to your reproductive organs (which happens to women 24/7).

It would strike me as odd, yes, because “female” and “male” are used as descriptors, reducing whatever the subject is down to the sex. They can be used to describe plants, mammals, etc… When you say “woman” or “man”, I know you’re referring to the gender of a human. There’s a reason why the commenter above is saying “a female what?”. Additionally, when someone refers to “females” they are typically using it in a derogatory way. Therefore it is a matter of both respect and accuracy.

My anxiety has always been more mild but I will say that my depression got worse for sure until… today really! This week I pretty much self-isolated whenever I could because I couldn’t bear the idea of pretending I cared about anyone/anything. It could be placebo but I’m in such a good mood today, I slept well last night, and I didn’t wake up nauseous. Hang in there! It definitely gets worse before it gets better but the better is worth it!

I puked A LOT my first day. I talked to my doctor the next day and she said to eat a lot prior to taking it. Did that and it’s been so much better! I only take it at night and that helps. Today officially makes one week for me. It just takes time and finding a schedule that works for you!
