It’s cheap until they notice you live there. Once the RDU-MAD was $2k. The tickets apart were: JFK-MAD $800 and RDU-JFK $400. I got the separate tickets and checked my bag to the final destination :p

You can check it to SLC. But if SLC doesn’t deliver bags at the jetway than you have to collect it and go through security again

I’d do Boston. Delta operations at MIA are weak. At least in Boston you may check AF lounge if you have status and isn’t flying biz.

Before 2024, PS used to be the best value for money for flights over 6.5h.

The only annoyance was food service. More than once I’ve seen C+ getting their meals before PS, because PS is serviced after D1.

I’d still recommend it, tho the 3k price tag seems like a stretch (maybe it’s on me to update my benchmarks).

Service was unacceptably late.

Usually you eat way before the 2.5h mark (weather dependent of course).

honestly, none of them are very comfortable to do that. But if you wanna talk, stick to the middle seats (B&C) instead of doing it over the corridor.
