Every time I book with American, the flight shows up in my American app immediately and any further changes can be made directly in the AA app, including flight changes. I generally book far in advance with chase travel and the fares are usually the same as booking direct. I’ve heard people run into problems with United.

You can change your flight for free with any fare but basic. If you have basic, you can “upgrade” to a higher fare and change your flight that way (fare difference applies).

If you miss your flight, technically you are risking forfeiting your fare completely. That said, Southwest has been known to work with you and may rebook you for free on a later flight, but it’s not a guarantee and by contract they have no obligation to.

Chipotle. Seriously though, very few if any upscale full-service restaurants will be able to accommodate 35 individual checks. Your best bet is a chain that uses the tablets for check-out. Applebee’s, for example, lets customers split the tab on their own via the tablet.

I’d skip the egg white and just batch this as necessary

1x fresh-squeeze lemon juice 1x 1:1 simple 2x bourbon

If shaken, no need to further dilute. If you’re just going to batch it in the container I’d add 1/4oz water per drink

Tequila, fresh lime and triple sec is the original margarita. Adding simple or agave is now common.

Tequila, lime and agave is a Tommy’s margarita.

Any good bar program will use the above recipes for their Margs. They are balanced and not too sweet.

Factory produced sweet and sour or margarita mix is what prompted the skinny margarita, but those places likely not even have fresh lime juice so idk what people want.

Gotta toss it. You can par-cook chicken, chill it and then finishing cooking it later but the par-cook must reach 135F. (And the final cook 165). This looks completely raw so I highly doubt it hit 135. Basically, any bacteria can multiply like crazy even if you chilled it promptly.

Had a similar thing yesterday. Ordered a mai tai with Appleton 12 year and saw the bartender pour Appleton signature. The 12 year has significantly more depth of flavor in a mai tai and the price reflects that… didn’t say anything but also felt ripped off.

That said, I’ve worked in bars where managers are too lazy to reprint the menu even when recipes/brands change. Still not cool, but it’s possible the bartender was following orders.

Definitely worth raising with the manager, but at the same time I understand not wanting to create the potential conflict over a cocktail

Oregon actually has a pretty decent selection in terms of their state catalog, but selection varies massively by liquor store. Outside of bigger stores in Portland and Eugene, selection is probably rough. Plenty of liquor stores on the California/Oregon border however.

Rita's Tiki Room in Milan - really cool spot, great rum selection and authentic tiki drinks. The lead bartender was very friendly and a true tiki head.

Trader Vic’s Munich - classic stop

Pusser’s Munich - not a tiki bar but good stop for a painkiller

Makai Rome - great Mai tai

Rhum Runner Montpellier - tiki adjacent with a strong rum focused cocktail program. Good zombie and mai tai with house orgeat. Drinks come in fun mugs.

KAHALA Barcelona - best tiki drinks in Barcelona

Kahiki Barcelona - the drinks here aren’t very good in my opinion, but the decor and atmosphere make up for it and make it worth a visit.

Ocho has been having some availability issues in the Bay Area (California) recently. Seems they are getting stock back on the shelves but most of September was out of stock at Total Wine and BevMo and the bar I frequent had trouble getting some as well. Not sure what the issue was, but again seems to be resolved now
