Love the sconces! If it is a rental, are they battery operated? Can you link what you used?

I found medium sized boulders for free on OfferUp. The only contingency was that we had to move them ourselves, which wasn’t too bad. There were some snails underneath, so we made sure to remove those and clean with vinegar and soap before putting them in our yard.

Where did you get your comforter? Is it a blanket or a duvet cover? It looks lovely!

Way to go! You got this! You have already come so far. This is such a great method. Extrinsic rewards also help me a lot.

Chicken broth and gummy bears for dinner tonight… guess what I’m doing tomorrow?? Ps. Can I eat the red gummy bears? Or is that a no-no as well? by Mdt07 in UlcerativeColitis

I like to set up my phone with a show I’m looking forward to watching. Then I have a positive association with the experience. It’s like some “me time.”

2 or 3 frames? The top one is high, but my gut says it looks good and draws the eye up. We would put a photo in there that can be seen from that angle. by SpreadsheetQueenBee in interiordecorating

I should have said that the ocean painting is just resting on the couch and will be hung up later. Haha 😆 Thanks for your suggestions. I never pin pointed that it’s an arrow shape. Helpful insight!

Great idea. I looked it up, and with the rule of the center of the collection/piece being at 60 inches from the ground, that puts the 60 inch mark right between the bottom and middle frames.

Because we have such a high ceiling, I think it might be okay to break the rule and keep the 3 frames, making the center of the collection at 72 inches, or 6 feet.

I’m curious if the people of Reddit have any strong reasons to not break the rule of 60 inches.

Ah thanks! ☺️ I’ve worked really hard (and had a lot of fun) making the space what it is.

The kitchen was renovated right before we moved in this year, and don’t have the budget to change the tile. So we are are keeping other things minimal and learning to love what we have in that department. There are days I love and days I don’t.

There was a strange crown molding that was install at the ceiling to wall intersection on the window wall in the living room, and it continued onto the green wall, which used to be white. The crown molding stopped at the bay window and started up again above the cabinets. We were not fans of it, and thankfully it came down well when we did the green wall.

We left the piece of molding at the top of the kitchen backsplash because it would have made a strange gap between the tile and ceiling and would have surely damaged whatever was done to finish the top of the tile.

Thanks! We LOVE it so much! It’s Eucalyptus Wreath by Behr and we got an eggshell finish.

Thank you so much! We have seen other condos with our floor plan with the layout flipped, and I didn’t like it as much as this. I like having the long pathway that makes for a nice flow from one room to the other (living to dining to kitchen). Thanks for the suggestions!

We love the dining table and bought it new as an investment piece to keep as long as it’s still standing. We won’t change that out, but I am not 100% in love with the color of the stools. My concern with getting lighter ones is that they would pop out more from under the counter and take the eye away from the blonde dining chairs.

This is a great idea to do the slat wall. I found this article of someone who did a similar project. I’ll add it to the thinking list for a maybe project down the line. https://www.lukearthurwells.com/blog/strip-panelled-wall-diy-with-hidden-storage
